Maverik is a 3 year old Husky, that has all the right moves! 🐶
He has been such a fun, goofy guy to have! He lives in the moment and is always happy no matter what he is doing. 😁
..And get this?? He is well trained!! He know basic commands, and is house trained, and walks well on leash. Maverik does great with other dogs, and does not mind sharing his toys with others. He's wants to interact with they cats but they don't care much for him.
Maverik has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and more!! He would make an excellent addition to any home!

Stevie has been at the shelter for 134 days!!😱
Stevie is a 2 year old Black Lab. She is a hoot to play with and watcher her enjoy the moment. She is such a fun, loving dog, loves to play and explore the world! She loves to play in water and would love to find a home that is active.
Stevie does good with male dogs, but not a fan of cats. Stevie is house trained and walks well on leash. She has been patiently waiting to find her home, while having a blast with staff members. 🐶

Our Dottie girl has been at the shelter for
363 days!!!! She is full of life and has been looking for her forever home for the past year!!
Dottie is a ray of sunshine! She always finds a way to make you smile when you're having a bad day. Dottie is house trained and does well with other dogs and does not care much for cats. Dottie has adjusted too well to shelter life that she can be shy with new people at times, but once she find that special home and hoo-man to give her love and has the time and patience to earn her to trust, she will forever have you in her heart.

A Day Out With TUBBS! ❤️
Who wants a 110 pound package of love? Tubbs is a 4-5 year old Bullmastiff mix who has been at the Lake Dallas Shelter for a while and today he got a break to go on a field trip! We have so many good things to say about this sweet guy and do not know why he is still at the shelter as he is just perfect!
Tubbs rode well in the car, enjoyed a brief sniffy walk, and was the perfect patio partner while eating his own hamburger patty. This big boy is super chill, gets along with other dogs and children, and doesn’t even seem to mind the cats at the shelter. Tubbs loves all people but is crazy about men! He would make the perfect Netflix and chill dog. He definitely is an inside dog and wants to be with the family.
Tubbs is fully vetted and ready to go home for the adoption fee of $30! Please share and help us find this hunk of love a family!

BILBO’s BIG day out!
Bilbo had the best day ever! The only thing that would top this day is being adopted by a forever family!!!!
This sweet guy has been at the shelter since September 2022!!! So one of our amazing volunteer took him out for some much needed fun time. The first thing on the agenda was to go to the park. Bilbo rode well in the car and loved sniffing while checking out the pond and ducks. He’s a quiet boy who observed his surroundings and didn’t react to passing by other dogs, people, joggers, bicycles, or rollerbladers. Good job, Bilbo!
Next stop was the pet store where he got to pick out a chew stick and some treats to take back to his shelter buddies. Then off to the hardware store where he loved the garden area to sniff the flowers!
Then is was lunchtime and stopped to get a hamburger patty and a puppuccino which he thoroughly enjoyed!!
Bilbo is a great dog! He would do best in a quiet home with another doggie friend to play with and help him boost his confidence. He can be shy in new environments and with new people but with a little encouragement he will flourish! Can you give Bilbo a home he deserves??
