With a cold foggy morning, let us brighten and warm your hearts as we say good bye to our furry friends who have hit the road to their new home in Chicago, New York and Canada. Thank you to Buddy's Second Chance Rescue, Mutts of the Midway, and Fight Against Breed Racism Rescue for making this possible for them and giving them the 2nd chance that they deserve and the volunteers who spent Thanksgiving getting everything ready to make this happen for them.
The City of Laredo Animal Care Services Department and Animal Control want to remind you that animal traps should not be placed during holidays or weekends. Unless you are willing to provide food, water, and shelter from severe weather conditions until turned over to an Animal Control officer on the next business day, Monday, November 27th. Failure to follow will result in legal action (fines, citations, or arrest).
Please alert authorities if animal(s) in trap are in bad or inhumane conditions. Call (956) 625-1860 for additional information during hours of operation or contact 3-1-1 to make any reports.
