In-Home Grooming
Hoofcare (RHS) My philosophy regarding Dog Training:
Every dog is different- period!
(33)

I’m not working after one stiff method and try to find out what works best for the dog AND his family. It’s important to me that my training helps everyone involved, however I believe that in order to be happy with each other rules are needed. i believe that it’s good for a dog to experience guidance in order to know what behavior we like and what is not acceptable. I do not believe in force that

causes the dog pain. Private Dog training from Germany
$50 per session (60 min)
3 sessions $135 (90 min+2x60min)
6 sessions $250 (90min+5x60min)

Training takes place in your home and neighborhood or any other desired location tailored to your needs. Gas fee applies outside of California City and Edwards AFB

Grooming:
In- home grooming can be less stress for you and your pet. no waiting in kennels, no transportation, no scary trucks. the pet will be groomed in the comfort of his own home. I bring everything needed you just need to provide a space to set up the table, electric outlets and a watersource (eg bathtub)
I enjoy grooming dogs. I strive to make your dog smell and look best. If the dog does not care for grooming much that isn’t a problem. Either I will do my best to make his grooming experience as quick, gentle, and stress free as possible! Prices depend on weight, behaviour, desired service and fur type and coat situation (tangled or matted)

I want to achieve a healthy, balanced hoof that fits to the horse and his use. In order to achieve this I take as much as needed, but as little as possible off the hoof. The hoof dynamics are very complex and my aim is it to achieve the best hoof possible for the individual horse. I can help to have a horse become barefoot. I’m not following one strict system because every horse is different. I do not believe in methods that cause the horse pain. For everyone who wants to know more about me and my work here is my Story

My name is Lena Lutz, and I'm a military spouse.I’m 31 years old and have a beautiful little son. I am the proud owner of four dogs I adopted after they were rehomed several times, & ended up in the shelter system due to behavioral issues. My dogs are Brownie, Bruce, Bela & Bärbel. I am a certified animal keeper by German State law. In order to be a certified Animal Keeper in Germany you must go to a special school for 3 years, and work in a shelter or kennel while earning your degree. Some of the subjects covered in my program were: Care and Handling of Animals, Feeding and Feed Selections, German Business & Pet Law, Business Management (of shelters or kennel), Cleaning and Disinfection, Animal Health, Safety and Security when working with Aggressive Animals, Animal Breeds and Groups , Adoption Contracts and Talks, Biology, and Dog Training. In regards to the Dog Training course I was educated & tested for all known ways to train dogs including: Positive Reinforcement, Negative Reinforcement (The Skinner Method), Clicker Training, Leadership Training, Ignorance Training, etc. I do not work with one specific system though. After getting my degree I was named Best Animal Keeper in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. Later I pursued another half year of extra training in Hoof Care where I became a certified Hoofcarer RHS. Finally, receiving my degree I worked 5 years with Roland Schmitz‘s dog school and kennel "Tannenhof" in Wallersheim, Germany furthering my education & experience. Here I also learned different grooming techniques and groomed many dogs. I have worked for other different shelters where next to the daily animal keeping duties my main responsibility was the socialization training of dogs, and the grooming of cats and dogs. When I'm not working with dogs I have had trained & took care of 30 horses in Iceland from the age of 13. In Australia I was care keeper of a tourist horse ranch. I have given kids riding lessons and have trained horses. I have also trained my own horses and went to tournaments in Dressage for show jumping as well as Mounted Games (here called Gymkhana)! if you have any questions please dont hesitate to call or write an email!
