****PLEASE READ****Saturday, December 2, 2023 the Dog Park and the parking lot will be closing at 1:00 pm. The Christmas Parade will start to line up at 2:30 pm; we want to make sure no one gets blocked in.

Thanks to PetSafe's Bark for your Park Grant and our construction crew, we now have new concrete pads for the watering stations and Shade sails for a little extra shade.🐾

JULY 25, 2023 Dog Park Closed!

7-24-2023 Small Dog side will be closed due to pouring concrete under the new shade sail.

7-25-2023 Hammond Creek Dog Park will be fully closed for both sides to be worked on and pouring more concrete on the Large dog side.

We will have our construction crew on site today and possibly tomorrow with equipment installing the new poles for the sun shades. The park will not be closed we just ask that you remain aware and keep an eye out.

UPDATE: Due to the weather, construction will be delayed. We will post updates as soon as we know when they can get back out there.

We have received a few calls and texts over the long weekend and wanted to post a reminder for everyone. Attached are the rules for our Dog Park as well as contact info in case of dog aggression or other serious situations involving animals.

Please keep in mind the park equipment is for dogs only!! Not kids or adults.

We want to make sure everyone has a great experience while visiting so please familiarize yourself with the rules for Hammond Creek Dog Park. These sign are also posted at the entrance to the park.

BYOWB - Bring your own water bowls🤣😝

Water has been turned off to the Dog Park and water bowls have been removed, due to the crazy weather of Kentucky and also preparing for the chance of some concrete work 🤞🤞. We will post to update everyone when we turn them back on in spring!

FYI - Just to give everyone something to look forward to in spring...... The dog park will have upgrades to the water bowl areas. The concrete will be expanded to 4' x 4' with drainage grates and new posts will be installed to add 16 ' x 20' sun shades over the water bowls.
