Yep! We're here until 8:00pm on Monday, August 5 to better serve YOU! The pets are ready, and we can't wait to introduce you to your next best friend!

This change only applies to the first Monday of each month, while regular operating hours of 11:00am to 5:00pm for the rest of the Mondays during the month. So hurry in! We'll be waiting!

Today is ! It's a special one, given how little we can often truly know about the breeds of the animals coming through our shelter. We don't do DNA testing here, but does it really matter? Ready to adopt a pet? It takes only a few simple steps to adopt from our center! Remember, adopters must be at least 18 years old and must bring a leash and collar or a cat carrier on adoption day:

• Review our Gwinnett County Animal Ordinances.
• View our online database of available pets.
• Visit our shelter during our hours of operation. Please kindly note that all adoptions and fosters are first come, first served. While early arrival is helpful to sign in, overnight camping in public places violates County ordinances.
• Get to know your potential pet.
• Complete required documentation.
• Pay any related fees.
• Take your pet to its new home.
