On April 7, 2023, I Googled this saying, because I was looking for where this statement comes from:

A thousand mile journey starts with a single step

What I found was:

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" is a common saying that originated from a Chinese proverb. The quotation is from Chapter 64 of the Dao De Jing ascribed to Laozi, (Lao Tzu) although it is also erroneously ascribed to his contemporary Confucius.

One of the sites this can be found on is the visual paradigm

Take that single step, then, take another, then, another. They start to add up. Sometimes you have to change direction, and that's OK. Sometimes they have to change again.

But getting those single steps out there may start something new.
