What happens when your pet is here to get their teeth cleaned? For dental cleanings we place the pet under anesthesia. While under anesthesia a thorough dental exam is done by Dr. Farris to look for any pocketing in the gums, pulp exposure in the teeth, etc. THe teeth are also scaled which removes tartar from the teeth. We also follow up the scaling with a good polish of the teeth to help improve your pet's breath!
