It is long overdue to introduce Bandito ADF (Jac’potes x Kenya-Infinity), aka Rico! 💙 Rico was born on Cinco de Mayo🎉 at 10:40 pm. For the first couple of days he was shy, but he very quickly became a very sweet and friendly c**t, though he is still very much a mama’s boy. This soon to be not so little guy has three absolutely stunning gaits and the cutest face with some absolutely amazing ears! We can’t wait to see what he does, whether it be jumping 1.60m like his dad or some dressage like most of the big kids in the barn!

Raptor rescue 🦅 Last week, we found an adolescent hawk, and this week, a baby American kestrel in not so great condition. Both were brought to a raptor rehab center in Louisville, where they will receive proper care and hopefully be able to return to the wild! Hopefully, we don’t make this a weekly occurrence, but we always want what’s best for all animals, not just horses!

America’s Queen (Alcindor x Connie Mac- Elusive City) is officially in foal to Spot Cash (Stolzenburg x Rosabella- Rebel Z)!🎉 Stevie is our first mare in foal this year and will be due February 25, 2025. This foal will be intended for eventing, and we can’t wait to see what it will look like!

We would love to formally introduce Electra ADF (Elastic x Belleza- Benidetto) aka Elle🩷. Elle is a spunky, independent, and energetic little filly much to her surrogate mom’s dismay. This filly is springy and elastic with great bone and a very sweet temperament, quickly becoming a barn favorite. We can’t wait for this one to grow up and see what she does!

*no longer available* Megamind (Hugo), adorable 14.3h pinto available for on site lease. Hugo is a barn favorite having competed in everything including dressage, show jumping, eventing, and hunters. Hugo would be perfect for an intermediate to experienced kid looking to show this summer. Would have to be in a lesson program with us, PM for more information!

All horses are okay after yesterday's very impressive storm, the same can't be said for the run-in shed. ⛈️🌪️ We're very thankful to have an amazing staff and team that helped clean up the destruction. We were lucky it only took out a run-in shed and some trees, and we're wishing the best to all who were hit harder than us.

We are thrilled to see how well Toby is doing with his new owner! Shelby and Toby were grand champion of the AA 2’6 hunter division and reserve overall for the green/tb’s .🥳 Toby came to us as a rambunctious little 4yo ottb and is now a perfect gentleman at almost 7. Wishing these two nothing but the best in their upcoming season.❤️

We are so excited to announce that Raven (HPM Saltira x Dauphin) one of the first foals we bred is officially starting under saddle!! 🎉Here at Arendahl Farm we strive to breed and develop sport horse of the highest quality and ridability. Raven was an absolute rockstar for her first time under saddle. She was incredibly relaxed and willing to learn. We are so exited for her future and the fun we will have along the way!!

My first attempt at breeding. How fantastic is this!!! I want to breed versatile Hanoverian’s. Deauphine ADF “Raven” is #3 in the YHS series 2 year old jump chute! Not bad for dressage bred! 🐴❤️

When training have an imagination about what you want your horse to do. Trust the process. Make corrections and when necessary be quick with the the aids. Do not add harder aids when the horse is learning.
Prior to training, the rider must learn a consistent, true effective form.
