Missing Cockatiel named Asher! Below is from the owner Katie. If you have any sightings, please contact her immediately!

Lost Bird!
PLEASE HELP! Our cockatiel Asher got outside Sunday evening, May 5th.

He flew almost straight east from our house. He was flying with a few birds and within minutes we lost sight of him. I am not sure how far away he could be now. He has never flown outside, only in our house.

I have his cage on our deck with his food and water hoping he returns safely.

He may come to you but I am unsure. He will make the Catcall and may say something like “Dixie come here!”, since we have a dog named Dixie, and he repeats that! He might also make the Cockatiel flock call.

If you do see him or, please let us know. Please ask others that aren’t on Facebook or if they have seen him.

Found and is home and safe!!!

Update! 5/18/24 still no sightings of Larry since Thursday morning 5/16. 😞

Update!! 5/16/24 7AM Larry was spotted near Prospect. After a rescue attempt he took off. Hes currently near 1707 S Nicolet Rd, Appleton. High up in a tree 🫠😩

Missing!!! Appleton, WI!

Larry, last seen on South Nicolet Rd(closer to prospect ave). Ge flew high and went over houses.

Wasabi is a double yellow headed Amazon and is around 10 years old! She’s young healthy and vibrant!

Wasabi loves to watch Miss Rachel on YouTube but would be best suited for a home without young kiddos.

Wasabi definitely thinks what’s hers is hers and doesn’t like people getting in her bubble!

With that being said Wasabi would make an Amazon couch potato with someone who enjoys sitting around and watching TV!

We have a private owner located near Wausau looking to find her Amazon a home. He is potentially around 30 years old. He would be best suited with a male handler & in a quieter home.

She is having us assist with finding a new family. So you will be asked to complete a questionnaire through us. If you are interested in providing a safe forever home for him, please message us 🙂

I’m sure many of you have a typical first aid kit for the household. Bandaids; peroxide, etc.

Did you know that birds need one too?
There are many things all bird owners should have on hand.
1. Quick stop or styptic powder to stop bleeding
2. Vet wrap
3. Gauze
4. Tweezers and/or small scissors
5. QTips
6. Syringes
7. Electrolyte powder or drink
8. Cayenne (also stops bleeding)
9. Saline solution
10. Latex gloves
11. Heating pad

These items can help in a pinch for any minor injuries that may happen even until you can see a vet.

Storing all the items in a tackle box for easy access as well as organization can save a birds life!!!

Don’t forget to also get your shirt orders!!

Meet Miss Gabbie!!

Gabbie is looking for her special forever home. She is 18 years young. She came from the most beautiful family who loved her dearly.

Gabbie is a needy precious soul. She will flock call for her person relentlessly until you magically appear 🫠❤️😂

Gabbie needs a female handler who can be home with her more times than not. Gabbie has been fully vetted including bloodwork.

She has a huge personality and just wants to please her person. She is loyal to the end of the Earth for the person she chooses. She has chosen me(Jessica) as that person right now. I can do pretty much anything with this girl and she’s fine with it 😂. She shows much potential to other people, but men not so much.

She is a perfect example of a feathered angel we will be sad to see fly from our arms ❤️

Weekend auction time!!!

This wonderful 16x20 framed painting will be up for auction closing Sunday April 21st at 6 pm.

Just this month alone we have paid $1400 to our wonderful Avian vet Dr. Sarah Wolfe. Plus have one bird going in for surgery next week.
We have also taken in 10 surrenders so far in April!

We have a private owner looking for a home for Frank. Located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Interested individuals need to complete our adoption questionnaire as the owner is working with us directly. Here is a little about Frank 🥰

Frank is a misunderstood guy. His wants and needs are simple and easy to maintain but if you stray from them, he may be a little problematic. Frank needs someone without other birds and preferably no kids in the home. All he really wants is someone to hang out with and watch tv or eat food with lol he does not like being pet and is over all not a “cuddly” guy. He’s more interested in just being near you and hanging out. He may not like being touched but he’s very easy and quick to stepping up. He doesn’t not like hanging out in rooms by himself. He thrives on constant positive interactions ❤️ really good bird when his boundaries are respected and relationships are maintained.
