Some information for those of you who follow this page. ☺️ Melissa is leaving us today for other endeavours and we are in the process of actively seeking someone new to fill her role. However, that means for the next several weeks we will be scrambling to keep up with everything. So, for prescriptions please allow 48 to 72 hours before pick up. We'll be doing our best to keep up and we know you will all bear with us. So thank you so much for that. 🥰

News: Due to a medical emergency, Dr. Mills is going to be out for at least tomorrow. If you need medications or are planning on picking any up, staff will be in tomorrow from approximately 8:30 until 4:30. We don't have any information to share, but we know you will all keep her in your thoughts and/or prayers. We will keep everyone up to date as we know more. Thank you!

It's been a busy time and so we haven't posted much, but we want to give you a heads up that we will be short staffed for the next 4 to 6 weeks. We have called in extra help and we will do our best to get prescriptions out in a timely fashion and get appointments booked as usual, but we really appreciate your patience while we work through this time frame. ❤️🐾❤️

Jenna's time with us will shortly be coming to an end as she pursues both travelling, and entering into a Masters program. So we are once again reaching out to you for assistance in finding our next team member. If you know of anyone with the qualifications we need who is seeking a great place to work, please share this post with them. And we'd ask that everyone would share this post with their friends! We are seeking an RVT or someone with equivalent experience to join our staff. You will be assisting the lead RVT and Doctor in the treatment of the patients as well as helping customers by scheduling appointments, rooming patients, and answering veterinary medical questions.

Skills needed:

Be experienced with performing nail trims, cytology, injections/vaccinations
Familiar with in house diagnostic equipment,
Competent with surgical preparation and monitoring, dentistry etc.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints
Troubleshoot and resolve client issues and concerns
Document and update customer records based on interactions
Room clients and patients
Reminder calls, patient update calls
Invoicing and receiving payment for appointment
Animal Restraint
Qualifications:

The candidate must have RVT skills as well as previous experience in veterinary hospital front office
Ability to build rapport with clients and patients
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Positive and professional demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A commitment to the field of Veterinary medicine

UPDATE: This is Susan and I'm posting from home. We are working diligently with PGE, ie bugging them to fix the power, but we have yet to know when it will be restored. Or if with the storms coming in the power will even stay on. That being said, if you have an appointment next week, it would be a good idea to call ahead and make sure we are up and running. We are trying to keep ahead of everything, but with the computers down it's a bit tricky. 🥹
