Hello to all of our wonderful clients,

On November 1st we will officially be relocated to our sister clinic at Walnut Grove Animal Hospital. Animal Medical Center of Monroe will still be it's own separate entity - Dr. Donnie Delong will still be the primary veterinarian. Our new hours will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 am - 4 pm - starting our first appointment at 9:30 am and taking our last appointment at 2 pm. We are very excited about this move. We hope that you come along with us on this new journey. Thank you all for your business and loyalty. We will keep you all posted & updated along the way. Below is the address to our new location:

To our wonderful clients, we would like to let you all know that moving forward we will be closed on Wednesdays. This will begin on 3/10/21. On these days we will be referring all patients to our sister clinic Walnut Grove Animal Hospital located at 1550 Walnut Court, just 10 minutes from our own hospital. This is one of our sweet patients, her mother is extremely worried about her. If anybody sees her or has any information please call her mother or let us know!

***UPDATE*** REUNITED!! Molly is home safe & sound after 10 hours, 17 minutes :)

"Thank you to PawBoost and to the PawBoost process that very quickly reunited us with Molly. Someone who lives close by received a Facebook post with our "lost Molly" poster. About two hours prior, they had seen a dog wandering beside the road about 2 miles from our house and the felt the dog they saw matched the PawBoost poster and description well enough. I received a phone call from these great folks. My wife and I went to the area and spent all afternoon searching the woods and calling her name. On the very last trail into the woods we were going to try, about 1/4 mile from our home, Molly ran up to us and said, "hello, where have you two been". She spend all night and most of a day outside exposed to constant rain and 30-degree temperatures. As I write this, she has eaten and is sound asleep in her indoor bed. Thanks to everyone who posted messages of support - we appreciate you very much. We won't talk about the very few that were trying to scam us and take advantage. We ignored the."

Message from Owner: We are devastated to have lost Molly. She chased a dear in the woods and never returned. This has never happened before. She may have ended her chase to far away or been injured perhaps. She is smart, full of life, and lives to be loved and to give love. It is 40 degrees and raining and we are afraid for her safety. Description: Molly is 2 yrs old, 56 lbs., fawn Boxer with black face and white socks. She has an ID chip. White chest, white triangular flash on back of neck. White stripe down nose line. Not aggressive, loves humans, barks very little.

We would like to let everyone know that WE ARE STILL OPEN. As an essential business we will remain open to help you take care of your furry family members!
CURBSIDE SERVICE: We are asking that all clients remain in you vehicles. When you arrive, please call us at 770-267-3776 and our technicians will come out to you! Once your baby has been taken care of we will invoice you out via phone and bring your baby back out to you. Our doctor/technician will go over everything with you via phone.

We do continue to ask that all clients with fever, coughing and/or sneezing within the last 48 hours to please reschedule your appointment if possible. If not possible, please talk with our staff so that we can find another option to best help you and you furry family member.
We also ask that any clients that have knowingly or possibly been exposed (directly or indirectly) to the COVID-19 virus to please reschedule your pets appointment.
Our doctors and staff are prepared to help you in any way we can to help ensure the well-being of your pets.

Since we are still at the peak of the flu season, and now with the added presence of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to ask our clients a favor. At our practice, we see numerous pets, which means we have a lot of pet owners coming in and out on a daily basis. If you or your family or children are currently sick or have been symptomatic in the last 36 hours with symptoms such as: FEVER, COUGH, SNEEZING, VOMITING OR OTHER FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS - we respectfully ask that you reschedule your appointments until you/they are better. Additionally, if you or if your family member or if you have been in contact with anyone who has traveled outside the country in the last 2 weeks, please call to reschedule your appointment. We do understand that this is an inconvenience, but this is for the safety of our team members, our pet owners and all of their families. Happy fall everyone! We know you have all been missing Doctor Donnie DeLong, we expect him to return to the clinic mid to late October after recovering from his knee replacement. He has been so touched by everyone’s concern and well wishes. Dr.DeLong is very excited to get back into the swing of things!
As Dr.DeLong joins us again Dr.Dietzel will be taking some time off to welcome in a new member of the family! It's that time of year again! ☀️
Georgia Summers can brutal, with temperatures reaching up to 90°F and above!
Please remember to not leave your pets in a parked car for any period of time. Parking in the shade and leaving the windows rolled down does not prevent the temperature of the inside of your vehicle from rising during the summer.

If you see any animals in parked cars, please check to see if the car is running first, then immediately contact your local law enforcement - giving them your location, and the make and model of the vehicle. (You may also ask for an E.T.A.)
If you are outside of a business, contact the manager and ask them to make an announcement looking for the owner.
