Hi to my very appreciated client families.
I have to take a 6-12 week grooming break to heal after unexpected, last minute hand surgery. I have been fighting a simple grooming injury since March that turned into cellulitis. All I know, is that surgeon says that I may be able to start grooming again in Aug to mid Sept. (I hope so, cuz I ❤️ grooming from home & I am recovering incredibly quickly) that's all I know for now. I may possibly be able to do some easy touch ups or nail trims soon, time will tell, but I can't promise anything. Feedback appreciated & if you know of groomers who ARE taking new clients, please let me know. Unfortunately my surgeon tells that I will not be able to groom large or challenging pets in the future. (Bummer, cuz I love a good challenge & to earn the trust of those difficult ones, job perk).
I was told to go on short term disability, I would rather not & find something I can do, so if you know of jobs/tasks available that don't require left hand grip/strength please let me know.
