Wanna keep your horse moving this winter?? Or a safe place to stretch their legs and roll when their only option is icy paddocks or packed trails through deep snow. Truck your horse in for lessons or take a lesson on one of horses😉. Or truck your horse in for arena rental - exclusive use for an hour.
We ride year round in our arena - we also have lights for evening rides too!

Oh what a fun day!! Excited for new things to come!!! Our long time students have done an amazing job helping me train our horses - spring 2025 we will be offering guided group rides!!! All riders will be paired with one of our advanced students and will learn all about the horse they will be riding!!! They will groom and tack, then ride in the arena with a little trotting if they like!! Followed by a walking trail ride around the farm! All horses and riders will be lead line led by our windcroft advanced students in the arena and the trail. Fun and safe!!!

Horses are a lot like 4th graders.

I know this because my wife, Bridget, is a school teacher, and over the years, I’ve gained a pretty good understanding of what it takes to make a great student-teacher relationship... and I’ve come to realize, in many ways, it’s not that much different from the horse-trainer relationship.

Horses, like students, may not always remember exactly what you taught them on a given day, but they remember how you made them feel.

They remember whether or not you encouraged them and made them feel confident about the things they have learned.

They remember if you took time to listen to them and to build a relationship with them.

They recognize our attitudes and behaviors, and they are easily influenced by the energy we put off—both positively and negatively.

Horses, like students, need space to make mistakes.

They don’t need to be micromanaged.

They don’t need to be harshly criticized when they get the wrong answer.

Instead, they need you to guide them in the right direction and be rewarded when they find the right answer.

Horses, like students, need us to take the time to help them develop their skills.

They need us to show patience and kindness.

They need us to have understanding and excellent communication.

They need us to be committed to their growth, no matter how slow or fast it may be.

Horses, like students, need us to understand that progress is not an overnight process, but rather a lifelong journey. And, while it may be a long journey, it sure is a rewarding one.

YOGA!! This Sunday 8am - rain or shine, cold or hot, we are having a wonderful outdoor yoga session with Katherine meek! Gentle flow, go at your pace, improve your strength, well being, mental health,flexibility, and balance. Our farm is great place to enjoy some serene outdoor yoga! New yoga students come early to register! Bring a sheet, yoga mat or beach towel and comfortable clothes. Now that our busy summer pony camp is coming to a close - we have Lesson spots opening up September 1st!

We also have horses and ponies available for leases to students that qualify and appropriate horses😉 as well as work credits for working students!

All weather riding with our covered arena, trails, and outdoor work areas. Fall is the best time to ride!!
