Jasmine's kittens are in their "stage 2" enclosure. They are old enough to start exploring more, and soon they will figure out the litter boxes. Next week they will be introduced to eating wet food.
🙈 Please ignore that we never finished painting this room during our renovation. It may never get completed, considering my crazy cat schedules. 🤣

Jasmine has delivered! Five kittens, including one very interestingly marked red boy! I suspect his silver will take over and he'll just be a very pale cream as he grows. :)

LunaMystique Cher prefers to walk like a dainty lady on the wheel (whereas Isabeau runs like a cheetah!). Cher is a kitten we held back from Jessica's litter, and she will hopefully join our breeding program later this year.

Our next two litters are due late July/early August!
Jasmine is a high silver tortoiseshell spotted tabby, so she may give us some red boys, and spotted tabbies!
Isabeau combined with Oniks gives us kittens with more white markings.

This is Cotton! She is our only available kitten right now for this litter, but we do have a few pending inquiries on her at the moment.
Velvet may be available later, depending on my decision to keep her back for breeding.

Denim, already learning the art of side-eye. Little known fact: Maine C***s know they are better than everyone else from quite a young age, so they learn these condescending looks early, from their mom. 🤣

Jasmine had her echocardiogram last week, and she got the "all clear" to move ahead with breeding. We will plan to breed her very soon, potentially to our polydactyl stud, Highwayman.
Her tail is amazing! She is also a spotted tabby along with being high silver tortoiseshell, so we are hoping for some spotted tabby kittens.

Update: Iriska has found a home! She will be spayed next month and then meet her new family. :)

We are offering a 1 year old adult female who did not work out as a breeder for us. Iriska is a black smoke imported from Europe, and will be spayed prior to placement into an approved home. She has chronic rhinitis, and while this is not an issue that is contagious, it could result in sporadic vet bills to ease symptoms during any flare ups, for the rest of her life. Currently, this is just causing her to breathe with a slight raspy sound at times, and she has no other symptoms. She is not overly large, only weighing about 8 lbs at this time. She is sweet and loving and will make a great pet for the right person. She is NOT free, message me for info. Thanks!

Here's another one of Jessica's kittens. I think they're the best kittens I have ever seen. Okay, I say that about every litter, I admit it. 🥰

A couple of videos of Jessica and her new litter! This first one is what she does every time I grab a kitten to weigh it. She ever so gently puts her paw on my hand as if to say "Don't touch those, they're mine". She is so polite about it though. 🤣

The struggle is real! Since we use pine pellet litter, there is often sawdust to sweep up a couple times a day. It is a fairly difficult task with my "helpers."
