Meet Shiloh! Sheās popped into posts before, but itās time for a formal introduction. Shiloh was adopted in August 2020 from Mostly Mutts. At 9 months old, sheād lived her life thus far on the streets, when rescued by a local shelter and transferred to MM. We brought her home, not realizing what we were getting ourselves into. Shiloh, while not a bad dog, knew life scrounging for food and always looking for a way out. She was the epitome of a puppy and fully embodied the level 9-10 energy she was assigned at the rescue. This was Johnās first challenge upon bringing a dog home as our first two were easy going and eager to please. We had to child-proof our home and build a new fence (because she could jump the old one), not to mention the number of creative enrichment activities John researched, bought, and even built to keep this active girl happy. Itās almost her gotcha day. Four years sheās been in our life. She has phenomenal recall, knows dozens of commands, and can even be left out while we are gonna without worry she will destroy the house. Why am I introducing her now though? Shiloh has taken on a role in the business, so if you choose to use us, you will meet Shiloh too! Picture #1 is from this morning. Shiloh was helping Peanuts Pet Care. She sat quietly on the sidewalk when asked, she jumped when asked, she ran, she walked, and most importantly she cared way more about the squirrels than the reactive dog across the street. Shiloh has been helping for a few months now to slowly decrease reactivity in other pups. Todays session was especially cute as John and his client were able to be close and she followed every instruction that he gave to the other pup with the cutest little look of pride on her face. Shiloh loves to swim, hike, wrestle, and sleep, but she loves her John more than anything in the world. If you get the chance to meet her, make sure she gets a good pat.
