🌞🐶 Summer Grilling Safety Alert! 🐱🌞

Today, we had this sweet (and naughty!) girl discover that it is fun to eat the drippings that fall from the grill and onto the rocks/gravel below! She ate all the drippings AND THE ROCKS, causing an obstruction! 🤢
She is in recovery now and doing well after having to surgically remove the rocks from her stomach and intestine.

Tips to Keep Your Pets Safe:

• Keep pets away from the grill area while cooking.
• Clean up any drippings and spills immediately.
• Dispose of any food scraps properly.
• Monitor your pets closely after grilling to ensure they haven’t gotten into anything they shouldn’t.

Let’s make sure our BBQs are safe and enjoyable for everyone, including our beloved pets! 🐕🐾❤️

Rosie was in yesterday for her first puppy exam! She is an 11 week-old Miniature Poodle! Yeah, we discovered she likes buttons as well! 🫢😄♥️

Little Blue was adopted from a rough situation and here she is showing off her ‘kitten sass’! One of the things we look for when we examine your pets ears are Ear Mites which are very small mites that migrate in the skin of the ear canal. In the comments, I’ll post a video of Blue’s ear mites under a microscope but TRIGGER WARNING, there are a LOT of mites! Safe to say that she’ll be cured of these easily! 🙀🥰♥️ PS: I love that her nails match her collar!
