We want to let our customers know that because of a drastic increase in our cost of Honest Paws, we are being forced to do a large price increase on the entire line. We tried to buy ahead when we heard about the increase at the beginning of the year but we are at the end of that supply. We are going to sell our current inventory at the current pricing, but beginning July 1st (or whenever our current inventory sells out) the prices of Honest Paws will be increasing 40-60%. Trust me, we hate it as much as you do. We do however believe in this line of product and want to keep it available to our customers. We have priced the products online and will be competitive against the pricing of our online competitors. We apologize for the inconvenience.

After a couple customer requests, we have decided to bring in the West Paw toy line. We are not carrying their entire line yet, but have quite a few - stop in to check it out! If you don't find the toy you're looking for, there's a good chance we can get it!

West Paw toys are unique in the fact that they are made by sanitizing, grinding up, and repurposing old toys. Their SeaFlex line is also made out of plastic recycled from the ocean. They have a limited 6-month guarantee on their toys and they are all made with absolutely no BPA, latex, or silicone.

We love a GOOD DEAL - which is why we are excited to share that we are starting a loyalty punch card program for our boarding services! Stay 15 days, get the 16th day FREE!

• This card will be the responsibility of the owner to keep track of and bring in to redeem.
• The loyalty program will be valid on stays on or after April 3, 2024.
• Each pet in the family will have their OWN card and you cannot combine more than one pet to the same card.
• Punches will be punched at pickup, not at drop-off.
• If you have a second pet receiving a discounted rate, their 16th punch will be given at the discounted rate.
• If a card is forgotten at pickup time, you can come in with your card for up to one week after your pickup day to receive your punches. After one week, you forfeit your punches.
• AHC is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. We will not replace lost cards and back date punches. You will have to start a new card if yours is lost or stolen.

It was a beautiful day yesterday! We recently acquired some play equipment second hand to use in our outdoor runs in the boarding facility. Our youngest (and 3rd generation) employee was busy getting it cleaned up for the pups to play with!

We are excited to announce that we have expanded our daycare facility to include a second indoor playroom for larger dogs! The addition of "Nelli's Playroom" allows us to cater to all size dogs for daycare. We would love to have you - stop in to check it out anytime during our business hours.

Our daycare hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30am-5pm. Our rates are $12/half day (less than 5 hours) and $22/full day. Discounts are available for full week daycare.

As many may have heard, our groomer Liz has decided to step back to focus on family. While we are searching for a new groomer (if you know anyone interested, send them our way!) we cannot offer full grooms at this time. The ideal candidate will be hard working, reliable, and flexible. General knowledge of small and large animals is preferred but not required. This position will be part time, both helping customers on the sales floor and working in our boarding facility. Hours can be very flexible, but would mostly be day time hours during the week, and will include 1-2 weekends a month doing part time hours (not all day Saturday/Sunday). The sales portion of the position includes but is not limited to receiving product, assisting customers, pricing, cleaning, re-stocking, and other daily tasks. The boarding facility portion involves daily chores – feeding, letting out, and playing/interacting with our pet boarders, and cleaning kennels and facilities. We are family owned and have strong family values, so we strive to be flexible to allow our employees to have time away from work when they need it. We are closed major holidays.
