Wednesday evening @ 6:30 pm, at the practice field (Egypt Road) meet and greet your fellow competitors with free pizza, beer and wine. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.

The Members of the Podium Working Dog Club welcome you to the 2023 LV DVG National Championship. We are honored to be the host club this year and will do our utmost to make this your best National Championship experience. We would like to wish all the participants the best of times and the best ratings and scores.
We know how important practice training is. We offer tracking practice fields for the participants of the 2023 LV DVG National Championship. Due to the large entry this year we only have very limited tracking fields to practice on.
The first practice field for tracking is at Hite Park at 25-45 Hite Rd, Kearneysville, WV 25430. Once you enter the park, following the gravel road. You will find 6 – 8 inches of smaller hay fields on the opposite side of the soccer fields.
The second practice field is at South Jefferson Park at 4095 Leetown Rd, Summit Point, WV 25446. You may choose any open fields.
The third practice field is Morgan Grove Park at 4198 Kearneysville Pike, Shepherdstown, WV 25443. You can only park in the designated areas.
Those three parks are open at dawn each day. Please be courteous to all park visitors. They are public parks.
DO NOT USE ANY HAY FIELDS WITHIN A 30 MILE RADIUS OF THE HOST HOTEL beside the two public parks. Ask permission first if you choose to practice anywhere else outside the 30-mile radius. The property owners are not always accommodating.
We offer a training field for obedience and protection training to all participants starting Monday October 30 through Thursday November 02, 2023. It is at 137 Egypt Rd, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
Obedience training starts at 08:30am until 12:30pm. Protection starts at 1pm goes until 4:30pm. A sign-up white board is at the training field for the participants. Please sign your name on the board. First-Come-First Serve.
There will be waiver forms for all visitors to fill out and sign. You can’t enter the field without it.

Time slots will be given out as I receive the emails. Please make sure you refresh your computer before signing up!

Maybe you, or your club would like to wish good luck to a competitor or to all competitors. This is a great way to support the DVG National Championship!
$50 per 1/2 page, $100 for a full page!

Just a reminder for the Competitors
DVG Dress Code
You must wear black pants and a plain white collared shirt in the obedience and protection phases. The shirt may be either short or long sleeved.
No club insignia or logos are allowed.
You can wear whatever you like for tracking.
Black pants and a white shirt should be worn for the closing ceremonies as well.
Outerwear for inclement weather is allowed.
