Just a little update for clients. It’s that time of the year… hurricane Season for us. We currently have a tropical storm Debby on the way. Currently we are on tornado watch till 8pm. It’s cloudy with some wind currently. They are calling for 12 + inches of rain for our area. Lots of wind with gust up to 70+ mph. That can change, but for now that’s what info we have. We have prepped as we do every year during hurricane season. Your horses were started on electrolytes yesterday along with anything else needed. As usual I will keep you updated with posts. If something does arise you will be contacted immediately personally. I do not see that being the case but just so everyone is aware as we have some new clients this year. We are the blue dot on the forecast map attached below.

I have the following looking for new 🏠 none of these horses are culls or junk!!!! Unfortunately we our out of room and we have 2yr olds coming in. Our loss someone else’s gain.

6yr old gelding by Slick By Design 1D/2D placings at super shows and local. 8x,### Album is in my photos under So Blazin Slick. OWNER will be picky about where he goes.

Decided to take a load of 2025 hopefuls and a couple others to Lake City fairgrounds last night to exhibition. As we were leaving Burger King after pickup up food for Nate someone decided to ignore our blinker, drive OVER the speed limit and make a stupid move right in the side of our trailer as we were turning! The situation ended with our trailer damaged and my neck pretty sore. The blessing in this situation all the horses seem to be fine. Elite Trailer Manufacturing’s quality in their trailers is superb. The minimal damage to our trailer considering the circumstances left us along with fire rescue, cop, EMT, and tow truck driver in 😲!!!! Forever thankful to own an Elite trailer. Thank you to the EMT, hotel staff, and bystander that literally watched everything unfold and all made statements. To our clients sorry I called most so late, but I know in this situation it was appreciated.

Job opportunity 🚨 We are in search of a full time employee. This job would be Monday through Sunday with one weekend off per month. Your off weekend would have to work around our show schedule. If you work weekends and show horses we can try to work that out.
Job consist of the following….
- Feeding horses AM and PM
- Turning horses in and out
- Putting horses on the walker
- Grooming
- Saddling and unsaddling horses for Jamey
- Cleaing waters
- Cleaning Stalls (12)
-Giving meds to horses and doctoring
- fly mask in summer, blankets in winter
- other odds and ends

This job is not hard but I have a lot on my plate and it takes away from my time with my son whom is homeschooled and has obligations during the week I have to drive him to and from.

Here is where you need to read before inquiring.
-Must be detailed oriented
- Must have transportation
- Over age 18 and mature
- Trustworthy
- Dependable
If you like to party and stay out all night then come to work on team no sleep this is not the job for you. This is Florida so if you can’t do heat then don’t inquire.

There is a RV park within 5 miles of our house that does a lot of long term lot rentals. So if you live in another state but interested in the job and have a trailer or camper this is an option. If that’s the case and you have one horse we may consider accommodating one horse at our place. That can be discussed if it arises. If you are working and you are done with morning work you’re more than welcome to watch Jamey ride and ask questions.
