Another great season almost in the books 🎉 our last day is Saturday, for All Access Season Passes only (production has dropped to the point that is all we can take). If that’s you, come see us one more time!! We still have tomatoes, peppers, squash and zucchini, flowers, a few melons, and blackberries for the early birds. will be here too, so come load up on bread and pastries!! See ya sat 😘

I can’t believe it, but the end of the season is just around the corner! The plants are getting pretty hot and tired, so we’ll start taking fewer spots each pick to wind down over the next week or two. BUT… We are waiting with bated breath for the last berries of our season. They’re not ready yet - we’ll keep you posted. Fingers crossed for some clouds or a lil Saharan dust in the air to keep them from burning up!

Real talk, Pickers! Some of our carrots are going down due to the excessive rainfall the last 2 weeks :( We’ll continue to pick while there are still lots of good ones like this biggun, but if you pick a soft one in the field, leave it right there and we’ll toss it on the compost pile. Another great weekend of picking - thanks for coming out to see us, everybody!! We’re very happy to see production starting to tick up after that prolonged period of rain - spots are open for Tuesday and Thursday right now! We’re still waiting on a significant amount of blackberries to ripen. I think that’s still a week away. So please know, you’re not likely to get blackberries this week - definitely not in the 9 and 10 o’clock hours, but we’ll evaluate every day the first hour to see if there’s enough to let you guys down there. If you MUST HAVE BERRIES, wait on visiting or go to HEB ;) it’s mother nature’s world, we’re just living in it. But we have lots of other stuff, and you need to eat!! MELON SEASON! How you find a ripe one tho?

Pick those cherry tomatoes *blushing*! They will ripen better on your counter at home at 78 degrees than out here at 98.

How DO you find them shish*tos?? Look underneath!

Dad stayed at the farm to argue with the wind, and I came back to town to tuck tomato and pepper babies back into the garage. We don’t trust no “predicted low” of 38 degrees!
