Went for his post surgery check up today. Milo’s jaw is healing nicely- but still has an infection that requires more antibiotics.

Adventures in rescue…
Saw a post that a pup had been hit by a car and was hiding under a house near me. Some nice folks helped me coax this poor baby out with some chicken….. Welcome to Hard Luck Dog Rescue Milo🖤 I have no idea how I will pay for this😖

Lulubell update… This spunky girl has healed from her embedded collar, survived distemper, and is now prepping for heartworm treatment! Thanks to PAWS New England for making this all possible and helping her escape the euthanasia list at MAS💚 Unfortunately her companion from MAS- Matilda did not survive distemper. It’s a horrible virus. Broke my heart.

Lulubell is now live on the PAWS website! I wish I could save more- but at least she gets to have a beautiful life🐕

After 1 1/2 years of waiting… I am so happy to announce Gigi has a forever home!! Thanks to all that didn’t give up on her. Of course a big thank you to PAWS New England and her northern foster family. 💜💜💜

Said goodbye to sweet Juniper yesterday. She left on transport to go to her new home in Rhode Island!!Juniper is officially adopted 🖤 Thanks PAWS New England !!

Because Junipers heinous original “owners ” cut her ears off- she has little fur- mostly scar tissue on what’s left. So crafted a special hat to keep them warm- and it’s pretty cute on her🖤

Jupiter got her stitches removed today ! Thanks Jen Shepard Clay and Utopia Animal Hospital! She is no longer anemic as well! She still has heartworm treatment in the future….

Jupiter’s biopsies came back good and Dr. Jenn Clay has deemed her cancer free! I am a cancer survivor - so I was very Invested in her survival for many reasons . Yay Jupiter !!!!🖤

Spent 5 hours today volunteering with the wonderful All 4’s rescue League at a FREE vaccine and microchiping event in partnership with Shelby County Health Department and Memphis Animal Services. We helped hundreds of dogs!!! And I got to snuggle with a few puppies🖤
