🌟🐾 Let’s take a moment to pay tribute to our cherished retiree, Banjo (son of Boomer)! Although he’s enjoying his retirement, he remains close to our hearts. Banjo has excelled in producing remarkable British lab puppies, blessing us with his son, Geronimo (also retired), his grandson, Indigo, and a few daughters and granddaughters to carry on the legacy.

In celebration of Banjo, we’d love for everyone to share photos of their Banjo pups or grand pups.

Updated!!! I would like to thank everyone who has shared the posts of our adoptable dogs. Nicky, Skye, and Guinevere have found wonderful homes. We still have Copper, Poppy, and Buster who would like to find their forever family. Please share to help find these last three a home.

We still have some adoptable dogs available that would love to find a good home. Let me tell you a little about them!

Copper: Tennessee Walker Hound, fixed and up to date on shots, around 3 years old. Copper is a funny guy who loves cuddles,attention, and all people and children. He is a social buttefly. He also has a major case of zoomies and is very playful He is very sweet and gets along well with female dogs and he does get along with male dogs if they are not jerks. Copper does have a prey drive so I don’t recommend cats or any small farm animals. He would need a fenced yard or a farm with lots of land to roam.

Buster Brown: Mixed breed, 8-9 years old SENIOR fixed and up to date on shots. Buster is our longest resident he has been at Duckhill for 6 years. He is very sweet and gentle and loves all people and is good with kids. He really is a very good boy. He does not however like other dogs or cats. He has a high prey drive with smaller animals. He would do best with a family that has a fenced yard who wants a single dog.

Nicky: ADOPTED Is a lab mix, 2 years old, up to date on shots. Nicky is a service dog wash out, which means he did the service dog training but flunked because he did not do well in airports. He takes a second to warm up. But let me tell you about this boy he is great! He sits well and walks off leash like a dream, kennels, housebroken, and gets along well with all other dogs. Would be a great dog for an elderly person as he is so well mannered and gentle, and is always checking to make sure his person is okay. He is an all around good dog.

Guinevere: ADOPTED She is a retired Duckhill Breeder!!! She is fixed, up to date on shots and is 6 years old. She has been through the training program so she retrieves dth, heels, sit, stay, and kennels. She would like to find a retirement home where she can live indoors and have a family to love her. She gets along with all other dogs and animals. She has always had a very calm dainty demeanor. A Duckhill favorite!!!

Poppy: Is a Labradoodle, 2 years old, fixed and up to date on shots.
Poppy is a Duckhill Doodle. That’s right someone bred their poodle to one of our Duckhill labs. Like Nicky, Poppy went through service dog training but flunked out. She is housebroken, heels great, loves the water, sit stay, and kennels well. She has a soft demeaner with great manners She is reserved though. It would take a person or family to have a little patience with her as she adjusts to a new home. I would also recommend a fence. But once she trusts you she will be stuck to you like glue.

Sky: AFOPTION PENDING She is husky mix, up to date on shots, around 3 years old. She is such a cutie, small at 35 lbs. She is a funny girl with beautiful blue eyes. She likes to swim, go for walks, and play with toys. She is a pro at fetch. She is a very engaging dog and likes to be a part of whatever is going on. She sits, lays down, shakes, and walks well on leash. She also has really good recall. She does get along well with other dogs but can have a rowdy playstyle. She has a little bit of a prey drive so I wouldn’t recommend chickens but she is fine with cats. Even though she is an active dog she can keep herself entertained with a ball or toy
