Cora is a female from 2022 season

These two hit it off from day one! They love to play and fly the house together. Their mama and daddy had a huge outdoor aviary built for them that they can fly in and out as they please. I think it is safe to say they are living their best life! 💙💛💙

The hyacinth macaws in this group currently moving through the nursery are 3 to 16 days old. The oldest has been fed 285 times to date! 💙💛

The nursery has another round passing through, enjoying the new brooders. Surprise Hyacinth incubated silky chicken came from discarded egg that was peeping in the garbage. It was refrigerated, before being put under a Hyacinth pair to replace their eggs that were brought in to artificially incubate. I later pulled the chicken eggs at the end of their sitting term, not realizing one was fertile until we heard the peeping in the garbage. The egg was a mess but hatched without incident. I wish the Hyacinth eggs were that resilient!

Help us think of a clever name for the miracle silky!
