Diego spent the last few weeks with us while his parents vacationed in Florida. Dollar was sad to see his temporary buddy go. Maybe because he'll miss him. Maybe because there's a chance he'll get put with Rita. Either way, I think Diego definitely missed his mom!

Nicole and Rita ❤️ Rita is a stellar mount who can ride for ages and never tire. She's strong, sure footed, and confident. Plus absolutely gorgeous road trotting through the snow!

Does your boarding stable clean out your horse's hooves when they're brought inside? Look at how thick that chunk is! Very uncomfortable and unsafe to walk on. Make sure to ask about cleaning out feet, wiping off excess snow with towels so your horse doesn't stay wet, and access to fresh water! Our winters up here are brutal so let's make our ponies as comfortable as possible!

Well folks, that's a wrap. 17th hay season is done! We put up 1600 bales this year.

The ladies got their blankets off for a bit today to roll in the sand. This is what they did. They're full of energy, obviously. Side note, they're looking pretty dang good for being in their 20s!
