Last to puppies going home today from Nova’s litter. This beautiful little Black and White will be a hunting terror on woodcock near Gloucester VA. I look forward to hunting with her in the future as well.

The last male from this litter just went home to a wonderful family who has a puppy from last years litter. I am blessed his forever home is only about 2 miles as the crow flies and I will get to see him grow up.

More puppies are going home today. So this may be some of the last videos. At this point there are all sweet and loving and professional shoelace untier’s! Lots of energy and using their noses to find more food!

First puppy going home to Michigan with the Laurence’s early this morning. This little boy will be terrorizing the Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock in Michigan.

Nova and Lagoo litter at eight weeks and one day. We are very pleased with the size, uniformity and quality of this litter. Was a good choice for stud dog. Pups start to go to there forever homes tomorrow morning.

Some field trial certificates finally arrived at the farm. Nova finished her GUN title in South Carolina in February of 2024. Diesel (Nova son) finished his GUN title by winning his brace and barrage CAGT under international judge the Honorable Poul Nielsen at Nationals in December 2023 in Oklahoma. This is the second time at Nationals he has won CAGT over approximately 40 entries at Nationals in the GUN class.

Weekend update. Pups are eating soaked kibble like it’s going out of style. All eight are very uniform in size and had there second visit to the veterinarian this week getting shots and wormer. They are 6.5 weeks today. They certainly love humans and chewing on us. They come when they are called and are super social. They have had some of their future owners visit the last two days.

Nova’s puppies first puppy food at 5 weeks old! They all figured it out instantly.

Weekend puppy update at 4.5 weeks old. They are becoming much more alert and snuggly before they fall back asleep in the shade!

Puppies first time in the grass. They are not smelling lemon or limes, but all the smells of a farm on the grass near the barn. Aunt Theta does not know what to think of her first time with them, but she was very sweet with them.
