We had such a fun Friday today πŸ€£πŸ’™

The world of Vet Med can often be very heavy and it can absolutely cause burnout.

We have started having a separate team meeting every month that is just focused on team building and fun, because we need it and deserve it.

Today we did two games the first one was acting out certain dog breeds in the Vet Office.

The second one was a cone of shame relay race. There were 5 teams that had to do 4 tasks throughout the hospital wearing your dogs favorite lampshade. (Unpack a box, put the item that was unpacked where it belongs in the hospital, place a pressure bandage, use our data entry system to text the first person on their team)

Winners were Dr Francis’ team! It was an absolute blast! We enjoyed a Texas Roadhouse lunch after!!

It was also our last day of spirit week and everyone looked great supporting their favorite sport/team!

(Videos of the race are in the comments below!)

Fall and Winter are quickly approaching and we wanted to get ahead of the game and discuss the common misconception that pets do not need to be on Heartworm, Flea and Tick prevention in the cooler month! This is NOT true!

The American Heartworm Society recommends that pets are covered year round!

The weather does not get cold enough or stay cold long enough to be considered reliable in the prevention of these vector borne diseases.

To learn more about the prevention of heartworm disease, you can follow the link!

Please take a moment out of your day to help us congratulate Hannah!!!

Not only is Hannah an instrumental part of our Client Services team and a light in all of our days, she is also NOW officially a registered nurse!!!!!

Your Sycamore Family is so incredibly proud of you Hannah!!!! And even though this means that Hannah will not be at our front desk every day (in a few weeks), don’t you worry she will still be a vital part of our team.

Hannah is behind the scenes doing social media and creating all the posts that you have come to love, and helping with website updates, and she just can’t leave us all the way!

Help us congratulate Hannah, RN!!!! We love you Hannah.
