What a great day at Shenango Way Farm! A gorgeous day, fun schooling ride with Kaylee, jump lesson with Carolyn, and games with my evening class. I wish I had snapped some photos, but I was too busy having fun!

Sunset ride at the farm last week. A walk through the woods, a game of "command" and ba****ck around-the-worlds just for fun.

I spent the weekend in Williamsburg, VA, catching up with friends, making new ones, and expanding my horsemanship skills. Many thanks to all who made this happy excursion possible, but mostly to my wonderful husband who gave me the weekend end off duty, being Dad, mom and farmer while I was gone. 🐴😊

Meet Brooke Chavez, ARIA Certified Instructor at Shenango Way Farm. Brooke has a degree in Agriculture from Delaware Tech, and is certified in both Recreational Riding and Hunt Seat. Brooke has been riding horses since childhood, participated in 4-H and Pony Club as a young rider, and studied for many years under a well-known local instructor. Brooke has over 10 years experience teaching horseback riding to adults and children of varying riding levels, English and western, and has a laid-back, enjoyable way of teaching.
