We have officially gone aquatic 🐠 meet Martha!

Geckos, lizards, snakes, frogs, dogs, cats, chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs, and now snails and fishies ✨ we have it all! Lol.

I don’t know how much more my brain can handle though 🤣

*We are not currently taking any aquatic surrenders. This is the only one we have right now, and I, like all animals we branch into, wanna make sure we’re doing it right before taking in any animals*

Salt in her hover car 🤣

Did you know: having your guinea pigs jump into something than lifting them out is a lot less stressful way of removing them from their cages than grabbing with your hands. The initial spook of being chased and grabbed can also make bonding with your guinea pigs a little bit harder. Get your pig a hover car to travel from cage to cuddles 🚗

We mostly focus on our “exotic” rescues here, but we do have some normal friends too 🤣

8 years ago this teeny kitten jumped into my truck with me. I never wanted a cat, and since than I couldn’t imagine life without her. She’s cost me a crap ton of money, looks like a rabid raccoon 4 months out of the year (allergies 🙄), trips me in the kitchen at 2am, howls at 4am, and beats the crap out of our dogs for just looking at her.

But she’s ours 🤣🖤

Happy 8 years Zelda, here’s to many more🥂
(don’t ask me that at 2am though 🤣🤣🤣)

We had 6 adoptions this week, and hopefully one pending, it doesn’t seem like a lot, but we haven’t had that many in that time in so long!

Adoptions are down, surrenders are high, but weeks like this make it worth it. Now onto the next 6.

When the local road side stand has 3 for 1$ bell peppers and you have 30+ animals that eat them daily >>>>> should last a day or two, literally 🤣

Hard to believe this girl is only a couple years younger than me, and has the feeding response of a 1 year old leopard gecko 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

Did you know most reptiles can live well into their 20’s? It’s not too common, due to poor breeding and living arrangements, but when you get it right, these guys can give you more time than most dogs and cats 🦎

15 cages cleaned, 15 water bottles filled, 12 guinea pigs, 2 chinchillas and a hamster fed, 3 new cages set up, and I’m wide awake 😩 did I mention this is only a handful of them? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Onward to the 13 tubs that need to have sheds and poops cleaned out, and 11 enclosures that still need to be misted.

Please excuse the floor, we’re in the process of redoing it around all this, which is a process of itself lol

Apology post for not being so active!

Hi y’all, first I wanted to thank every one for their support through our journey so far. I wanted to also apologize that I haven’t been as active on here. I’ve been mainly running everything through my personal page so it’s a bit easier to manage, but I’ll be trying to get on here more frequently to give everyone the updates they’re here to see 🖤

All of the animals are doing great and very much still active themselves 🤣 so we hope you stick around to see more of them!

Also, if you’ve sent us a message and haven’t gotten a response, I’m truly sorry. My Facebook messenger has been acting up since the beginning of time but it’s gotten worse the past couple months.
