I spent this weekend teaching aspiring animal chiropractors how to appropriately adjust animals. These students are spending $8000-$10,000 to become certified in animal chiropractic. This is ON TOP of the $150-350,000 they are spending on chiropractic or vet school.
I have many people ask me if their kids can shadow me as they would like to do what I do. This career is no easy task. To LEGALLY adjust animals you must first attend either vet or chiropractic school (4 years) then you are eligible to take the chiropractic course. The course is an intense 6 months of focusing on anatomy, neurology, palpation, appropriate adjusting technique, and recognizing when a problem is not chiropractic. You must pass multiple tests, including an extremely intimidating AVCA exam. .
Anyone can pretend they know what they are doing, but make sure you research who you are paying to adjust your horses. AVCA certified doctors have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and countless hours ensuring we are truly helping your animal.

"As the twig is bent, so grows the tree."

Baby horses need chiropractic too! We recommend that young horses are checked a couple times a year for nervous system optimization and for balanced growth & development. Don't wait until something is wrong to start your hooved/furry friends under chiropractic care. ✨ They deserve WELLNESS - just like you!

Dr Jenna clearly had SO much fun meeting baby Blanche today! 🙃

Special notice to NEBRASKA and KANSAS customers: Due to immense travel and farm call expenses in 2022, I’m having to drastically restructure being able to provide chiropractic and acupuncture services in both states. For future scheduling, I will be publishing two to four days per month that I can be available to meet clients in north central Kansas or south central Nebraska, depending on how many horses sign up. Appointment scheduling deposits will also be required at the time of scheduling to offset the cost of last minute cancels.

April 3rd, 6th, 17th and 20th are options for next month. If you’d like to try to line up on those days, shoot me a text at 308-708-3156. I greatly appreciate all of your support and understanding and look forward to a new season!

🧨💣💥TRUTH BOMB COMING YOUR WAY🧨💣💥

✨There is NO SUCH THING as a horse "self-adjusting" due to a therapy or treatment that is not chiropractic.✨

This is a message that is being incorrectly circulated on various (non-chiropractic) equine professionals' pages more and more.

I would liken this to a human using a foam roller & claiming it has the same effect on the body and brain as an adjustment because you may hear a "pop". 🙈🙉🙊

I am a huge proponent of the integrative, multimodal approach to help keep your horse performing and feeling their best. That being said, I never claim that I am doing what anyone else is doing. Chiropractic is DIFFERENT than massage, bodywork, acupuncture, modalities, supplementation, etc. which leaves me wondering why other practitioners claim that what they are doing has the same effect on the animal as what I do when it is NOT? Let me explain...

What Chiropractic IS:
🤘specific motioning of each joint articulation to identify subluxations throughout the spine, pelvis, jaw & limbs
🤘precision & speed of the thrust to restore motion to have an effect not only locally for increased range of motion and decreased pain at the site but also on the brain for pain modulation, neuroplasticity and increased proprioception (🤓 just nerd with me for a second)
🤘assessing for and treating deficits in the overall functioning of the entire nervous system rather than just checking problem areas or areas of complaint

What Chiropractic is NOT:
🤯simple joint cavitation (the "cracking sound" = nitrogen gas bubbles being released due to a change in pressure within the joint capsule is NEVER the goal and does not guarantee restored motion of said joint)
🤯the horse rolling on their own or other observed signs of release such as yawning, licking/chewing, softening of the eye, dropping their head, etc. (it is so much MORE than that)

Bottom line, unless the individual treating your horse is a Certified Animal Chiropractor (DC or DVM with extra training + AVCA or IVCA Certification) themself, they are not trained to properly assess for joint motion. Therefore, there is no way that they can verify that joint motion has been restored based on their techniques or methods alone.

✨There is NO SUBSTITUTE for the Chiropractic Adjustment✨

This is a great summer series just for the kids!

I am posting this way in advance but I am putting on 8 horse shows here in Minden this year at the arena in town.

I am opening each date up to 6 lesson students!
Please read the details on this flyer for the end of series prize info, if the student does not compete in 6 to earn those just know there will be small prizes for each individual show as well so no worry if they don’t do the entire series!

My lesson students that have their own horses this post does not apply to you ONLY the ones using lesson horses.

Because I am limiting the number, I am opening it up early so you guys have plenty of time to decide.

Please private message me if you want to sign the student up, I will need to know what events and what dates!

Thank you!! 🐴
