"Hello,
I wanted to write to you and say thank you for what you do. We adopted our dog Scout from you and he’s what first made us a family. He had a rough start almost dying the day after we brought him home from an unforeseen sickness he had when we adopted him. You all were gracious enough to pay for his care which included many days overnight at the vets office. Without you we couldn’t have saved him.
Since then we’ve had 2 boys of our own. Scouts lived in 3 states, been in 2 countries, been on many, many adventures (he goes everywhere with us) and touched every heart in our communities. It’s been 13 years of love, laughter and life and we couldn’t be more grateful you brought him into our lives. He passed away a few weeks ago. But he will live on in us forever. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for our cherished family member."

We have a literal match made in heaven: Stella – our sweet, senior-ish black pittie who’s been overlooked for far too long – finally has a forever home waiting for her in Aurora, Colorado. 🥹❤️

Her adopter lives alone at home. Her last dog lived to be 17. She’s ready to spoil Stella rotten and give her the love, routine, and peace she’s always deserved.

🛻 Right now, our amazing employee Hirut is on the road with Stella, ready to make the 8-hour journey from Kansas City to her dream life — but we’re desperately short on gas money. 😞

We are a licensed, non-profit animal shelter located at 5918 Broadmoor, Mission, KS, that works to save the lives of homeless pets and strives to improve the image of bully breeds in society.

We also work daily with high kill shelters to pull “unwanted” pets to safety.
