This corner of my garden has been a w**d patch over the past 3 years. I just didn’t have time to develop it. This March, I finally transformed it into a cut flower patch for all my filler flowers. Im sure it will continue to develop as the years pass, but for now, I’m ecstatic to see it become part of the garden!

Ooofta! This one hurts a bit. I was out of town this weekend for my kids soccer tournament and I came home to find my garden gate wide open. We had a lot of wind so my guess is it blew open. The deer got in and devoured my strawberries, ranunculus, coneflowers, lilacs, hydrangeas, lilies, phlox, celosia, pansies, roses, sunflowers, honeysuckle, tomatoes, broccoli and even the sweet peas that are supposedly toxic…they nibbled a few dahlias, uprooted some tulips bulbs and newly planted cress and alyssum. I think most of it will bounce back with time but am sad that I won’t get to see the pink ranunculus bloom that I’ve been babying since March. Luckily they left the majority of the dahlias, snap dragons, zinnias and lisianthus along with several others. My veggies are just starting to sprout from seeds so they are also safe. Now to keep what remains alive through this upcoming winter storm that’s set to bring snow and frost to the area tonight and tomorrow night.

Growing up in Montana, everyone always says don’t plant sensitive crops before Memorial Day! I knew better, but I rolled the dice and now I’m paying the consequence… every, single, night! 😂

This is my first time buying Lisianthus plugs from Farmer Baileys and they are absolutely gorgeous! Since these babies are so slow to germinate and grow, they are often started in December and I just didn’t have the grow space to do it myself. I can’t wait to see them start blooming!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for supporting me and my hobby gone wild! Because of you I am sold out of tubers for the year (minus a few I’m reserving for a few family and friends). I have closed down my website. This was my first year selling and approximately 350 tubers have gone out the door. Please let me know if you have any issues with the tubers you receive or if you have suggestions for how to do it better for next year! For those of you with pending orders, I’ll be shipping them out on Wednesday or Thursday after these cold nights pass. For those that haven’t picked up your orders, let’s meet up soon! Thanks again everyone!

Sadly, KAs Coral Sea and KAs Mocha Jake will not be joining my garden after all. While I’m super bummed that my top two wishlist dahlias got canceled, that’s the harsh reality of growing the beautiful flowers. Storage doesn’t always go as planned, cutting fail for no reason, or sellers simply miscalculate. It happens to the best of us. As a seller, I know it’s just as disappointing to to send that message as it is to recieve it. There’s always next year but until then, I will continue to dream of the bouquets they will someday inhabit!

***Online flower Bouquet Popup starting at 730pm mtn*** Unfortunately, the weather is not allowing me to put my bouquets outside so I’m going to have a little popup party on our page starting at 730 mtn time! These six bouquets need a new home! Bouquets are $25 each, cash or Venmo, and must be picked up tomorrow. I’ll post a picture for each bouquet and the first person to comment “Timber” will get to bring it home! Who needs a bouquet?!
