Welcome!
My name is Briar and I am starting a mobile pet care services company.
My background:
I have worked in multiple veterinary hospitals in the Portland metro area. I have a total of about 5 years in experience in the field and am working toward getting my CVT(certified veterinary technician) licensing.
My love for the field grew to a career finally in 2017. I started as a receptionist for a few months and then quickly worked my way to being an assistant. My love for animals has proven time and time again that this is what I am made to do for the rest of my life.
I have had many pets growing up, primarily cats and dogs, but I truly love all animals and plan to grow my knowledge for as long as I am able. I currently have two dogs of my own that I cherish with every fiber in my being. Also incredibly grateful to have a life partner who loves animals as well.
My goals for Pet TLC by B:
My goal is to care for primarily the Clackamas county area's pets, and potentially branch out further. I plan to help the community care for their pets and relieve the load off veterinary clinics that are overworked. The veterinary community is some of the most caring people I have ever met and we want to care for every single pet in every single way, but that isn't always a possibility. Some of the care services your pets may need are not veterinarian required. These services such as; nail trim, gland expression, ear cleaning, medication administration, and so on, can be done without a veterinarian.
Where does the MOBILE part come into play? Well I will be coming to you! In home service is something that helps grately in lowering the stress of your pet. Instead of going to the vet where they, 99% of the time, hate for one reason or another.
Services provided:
Nail trim, gland expressions, ear cleanings, medication administration(oral meds, ointments, topicals, etc. Provided by your veterinarian), subcutaneous fluid administration (materials provided by you from you veterinarian), non professional fur trims, mat removals, sanitary shaves, basic bathing, walking and transportation to and from veterinary visits if needed.
I cannot provide medical advice as I am not a veterinarian. I can refer you to doctors if something is beyond what I am able.
I am also not a professional groomer. So if your pet needs to be groomed for show I am not your girl.
I am currently working full time at a veterinary clinic so my schedule is slightly limited. But I do hope to help our community's pet care needs and help alleviate the daily toll off of the veterinary hospitals that are overwhelmed.
I will be providing services on Wednesdays and Sundays to start. Possibly changing soon and will keep everyone updated.
Please contact me via messenger and we can get scheduled!
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and any opportunities that come my way!
