Emmi went to the doctor today to check on her leg and get the estimate for surgery.

I was excited to learn my chunky girl is over 1pound ~ From 13 ounces to 20 ounces in 10days ! (last 2 pictures show her growth) 😍

All the tissue on the leg is dead and hard, making it appear worse. However it isn't causing any urgent medical intervention at this time. Good news!

The doctor scheduled her surgery for May 9th. Hopefully in the next week and a half she will continue to grow, stay healthy, and be as strong as possible. ❤️

This is Rooster. He went to the doctor today because his hernia suddenly expanded. Unfortunately his intestine could come through the opening and become twisted. So, the little guy goes in tomorrow for the procedure. He is strong and generally healthy, I'm confident he will be just fine 💙
His siblings will be available for adoption this weekend and Rooster soon after!

Debbie is still looking for a forever home, she would do best in a quiet house with no small children and no other animals.
She had her own family at one time - that left her behind outside when they moved away. She is just now learning how to be a kitten herself as she has had many litters since she was only 6 months old. She loves to be close to you, but is also very devious and playful.

This boy is so sweet! He hugs like this at home, purrs, plays, sleeps w you. He didnt do well at the event today tho. Some kitties just don't like the unfamiliar sounds and environment.
Lightening is terrified of other adult cats. He does great with little ones and even nice dogs.
Please give this boy a chance, you will have a lovebug forever.

Captain Jack is a chunky boy looking for a quiet home to spend the rest of his life in.

He is 10 years old, fixed, and declawed (he was brought into rescue declawed. We do not allow declawing of any of our cats and urge everyone to promote the banning on this cruel procedure)

He is great with his litter box and enjoys the simple life of eating and relaxing. He was raised with other cats and a small dog, but a slow introduction would be best. He loves to get pets and follow you around (despite his size he’s pretty speedy).

He is the most loving and silly cat. He loves other cats and would even do well with a very calm or older dog. But his favorite thing is to hang out on the couch next to you and watch tv.

Meet Edward.
After a very sudden loss of his original home, he has been pushed around from home to home - several times because the people that "wanted" him could make money. Thankfully, the last time he traded hands the lady asked for rescue.
He wasn't cared for in some of the homes, leaving him with horrible ear mites, inner ear infection (that has given him a headtilt and severe hearing loss) fleas, worms, a small upper respiratory infection, severe knots that caused pain, and an inflamed bladder (no stones tho!).
He is now on medicines/treatments for everything and will get a chance to recover.
This poor man deserves someone that will love him permanently- not because he is persian but because he is a sweet cat that deserves a loving home.
No applications accepted for him at this time.

Updated w blood work results.

He has an uphill battle, but the test results aren't too bad.

This poor guy is at SNIP to be fixed. However, he is only 5lbs at an estimated 5yr old. He is so emaciated and dehydrated that they couldn't perform the neuter.
I found out about him and had him tested for fiv/felv (neg), flea/tick treated him (dozens of ticks!) but they need to do additional blood work to see if we can save him!
The panel alone is $235. ((They already gave him a bolus of fluid))

Meet Cami! This beautiful, friendly, 2 year old is ready for her forever home. She is comfortable around small dogs and kids. As with any beautiful princess, she prefers to have her litter box tidy and clean. She has been spayed and will be ready for her new home after her second vaccine.

New pregnant mama coming late tonight. Her owner went to jail and she was put outside where she ended up pregnant.
Thankfully she wondered into the right neighborhood where someone is feeding her and reached out for help.

These 2 absolutely precious little ones are available for adoption. Mushroom and rigatoni are sweet babies that love to be together.
Poor little mushroom was adopted but returned because he didn't do well without his sibling. Now they must be adopted together to ensure they will be happy babies in their new home.
Vaccinated and pest treated - spay and nueter included when age appropriate.

Emmi 🩷
As I feared her leg (from the "elbow" down) is dead. Thankfully it doesnt seem to cause her pain.... Although we cant say for 100% on why this happened, Dr. Fraley said he will have to amputate her leg sooner than later.
At the moment is is only about 13ounces, 5 weeks old, and still not as strong as a normal kitten. Her chances at surviving an operation now are very poor. So, the doctor would like her to grow for a few more weeks if possible. However with the leg being dead, waiting poses other dangers. To help combat those, she is on a 2nd antibiotic and will continue all the extra support I have.
Another factor is the procesure's cost. A leg amputation will likely carry a large bill (no estimate til after next check) Since we are 100% donation funded, this is very daunting. We do our best to save as many as we can - a large bill will take away from other kitties we could be helping.
She fought so hard to get this far, I dont want to give up on her. If you have any ideas for a way to raise money, businesses that may wish to donate for raffles/etc, please message us.
We all appreciate your continued care and love for the cutest lil baby calico.

Emmi is eating on her own now, and she has gained some weight.
However, her leg has gotten worse - It is drawing up and becoming very stiff. I'm pretty worried about it so I've made another appointment at Pinnacle for later today.

She is an 11weeks old, playful, sweet, loving, fun, perfect little girl. She is the last of her litter to be adopted and is lonely without a playmate. She would be so happy with a family!

Her eye had a scar (isn't painful, doesn't require any medication or intervention) from when she was little but otherwise is just perfect!

Cinnamon is adopted
Sage is adopted

Barn babies Sage, Anise, and Cinnamon are 10/11weeks.
Sage is the little one that had a very rough start. Her leg was fractured when she was no more than 5weeks and her bum pr*****ed. With care from her vet and a strong will, her leg has healed on its own and her bum was corrected via a procedure. She is adorable, spunky, and super loving.
Anise had a bad eye infection when she first arrived. Through medicines and care it has healed - granulated - leaving a small scar. She does have vision in this eye and it in no way slows her down! She is a stunning girl full of love.
