Message from Owner: Silas was stolen and is missing. He is only 6months old and requires and bi- weekly vet visits. He is just a baby and me and Odins best friend. Please help him make his way . He is so loved and missed.

Hey, everyone! We wanted to take a moment to recognize a very special recent birthday: the kennel! Yesterday, June 23rd, 20 years ago, Country Kennels welcomed its’ first guest for boarding. From what began simply as an empty pasture and an idea, it has grown into one of the area’s most popular pet boarding facility. It’s hard to quantify in mere words how we got here and what it means to us. It all boils down to the customers. We’ve met some truly wonderful people and their pets over the years. Some we only had the chance to meet once or twice and others we now consider family. We have also said goodbye to some as well, both two and four-legged. Over the past 7,000+ days we have cared for countless dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, and even that one time we watched a beta fish. There was never an instruction manual that came with a boarding kennel. No two owners or pets are ever the same. Each day brought its own unique challenges, but by experiencing those challenges firsthand, they enabled us to be better for the next day. 20 years later, just when we think we’ve seen it all, we are always reminded that we certainly have not. In the end, not a single moment of any of this would have been possible without those who got us to who and where we are today. So tonight we send a heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who has allowed us to be apart of their lives over the last 20 years ❤️

Female German Shepherd was abandoned today in Jenkins Township. She was tied to a tree near an abandoned building and removed by police. Please call us at 570-333-5265 with any information. All information is kept anonymous, if you know something PLEASE say something.

Her family will never give up. Electric fence is turned off. If u found her that’s the prong collar she had on. If you love her imagine how her family feels. Please share. She took off in the woods chasing a deer she missed her family soooooo much. Her Family wouldn’t even celebrate Christmas without her. All they have been doing is searching quietly for their precious baby girl. His human is 10 years old and he is her service dog.
He was stolen on 01/18/24 as part of a domestic dispute. The PSP has a record of this dog being stolen and a case on him.
Please bring him back to his rightful owner.
His microchip and licenses are all in his owners mommas name.
He was last seen in Pittston.

I had the pleasure of meeting these majestic gems at Country Kennels! I had an absolute blast giving them treats. I Can't wait for summer when I can hang out with them, give them a refreshing bath, & brush their beautiful coats. 🌞🛁 Horses truly are like giant dogs, full of love & personality! Such an awesome place to be !! ♥️🐴🥰
