Romeo Kane joined the mission in August of 2021. The Bull Terrier Rescue Mission, Inc. In all cases, tireless work is gladly expended.

The Mission, is dedicated to advocating for the health and welfare of unwanted, abused, or abandoned Bull Terriers in the United States. (BTR Mission/BTRM) is a 501c3 not for profit, all-volunteer, foster based organization dedicated to advocating for the health and welfare of unwanted, abused, or abandoned Bull Terriers. We work towards extracting them from their dire circumstances and placing th

em in homes where they can be evaluated, allowed to heal, and rehabilitated if necessary. BTRM works with animal shelters, rescue professionals, Bull Terrier owners, and veterinarians throughout the United States. If BTRM cannot provide direct support, cases are directed to appropriate organizations that can. The Bull Terrier Rescue Mission does not discriminate due to the age or health of its Bull Terriers. Professional veterinary care is provided – including spay/neuter – prior to matching each Bull Terrier with the right adoptive home. No animal is euthanized for need of medical care. That option only exists if the animal displays extreme threatening behavior towards humans, or if their health is unrecoverable. This handsome stud muffin is looking for his furever home!

Here is Kane’s basic info:
16 months old
Neutered male
Heartworm negative
Up to date on vaccines
No known health issues
Crate and house trained
A home without kids or cats
Selectively dog friendly

Here is his situation:
Kane was surrendered to the rescue because he was/is a very mouthy puppy. He easily gets over stimulated and when he does he shows his excitement with nips. Unfortunately he broke skin on a child while he was overexcited. In the time that he has been fostered in Myrtle Beach, January 2022, he HAS NOT shown any signs of aggression. He is just a yoing dog that communicates with his mouth. Kane picks up on energy very easily. His foster mom is very level and calm and thus he is always calm around her. People have come over to her home that are high energy people and Kane is immediately excited and getting nippy. This is a dog that should go to a calm home that has the time to put into training and understands breeds that are stubborn, high energy.

He is fantastic on leash. He is great in his crate. He tends to be on the lazy side most of the time, but he defiantly gets random bouts of the zoomies. He is completely house trained and has not had any accidents inside. His foster home has a doggy door that he is learning to use. He has been in homes with other dogs, but since he’s been in his foster home he had ringworm that is being treated and has been kept separated from the other dogs until his skin scraping comes back negative.

Kane went to the vet today and was a huge hit! The girls at the office stopped working to get down on the floor and give him all the attention!
He needed to get a vaccine and a sore on his face looked at.
As of right now he’s up to date on all his vaccines, he is heartworm negative and on prevention, he is neutered, and he has no known health issues.

Romeo Cain one of the Mission ‘s smoll bois, just made it to Myrtle Beach SC. As per his awesome volunteer transporter, he was a great passenger. Did a bit of the big “protec” now and then but otherwise, was all about the cuddles and puppy behavior. He might be just 14 months old but he is all infant BT on the inside. Stay tuned for more on this special little man
