Intake is temporarily closed, but these 3 babies were the last ones we committed to before closing intake.

The story is the same: dumped. Thankfully a lady stepped up to help them and got them to us today.
These puppies are the sweetest, just scared right now.
They will be fully Vetted then ready for their forever homes.

We are all in tears, but for a happy reason.

Audrey was so neglected, so traumatized by being left stranded and pregnant and slowly lost every one of her babies.

But today life changed for Audrey. She was adopted. ♥️
Her family even brought her a sweater since she doesn’t have much fur.

We would like to thank her new parents for seeing past the fear, the skin issues, the hair loss and saw a beautiful girl who needs a real home with a loving family.

We would also like to thank everyone who stepped up to help with this rescue of 20 dogs in Stevenson, AL.

Go be great, precious girl! We love you!! 😘

Darla our resident moo-cow keeps us all laughing. She is a mega snuggle bug and loves all the male dogs in her foster home. She is potty trained, crate, trained, leash trained. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. She is such a good girl and she's ready to meet her forever friend.

💜💜💜 SADIE 💜💜💜

Sadie girl is a long stay in our crew. Thankfully she has an awesome foster mom that has taught her so much! Sadie is a peaceful girl that enjoys staying home or being in nature with her person. She is capable of having a dog friend with a very slow proper introduction. Overall though, she likes to be with her human and wouldn't mind being a one and only. She is potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, knows basic commands, and a few tricks! She is loyal to the core and very affectionate. She loves chew bones and toys. Overall Sadie is a gem still waiting for her forever friend.

Sadie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. She's the best girl waiting for her family, could that be with you?

This little guy, Monty, is adorable & sweet. 🦋
Estimated 6-9 months, weighs about 25 lbs, crate trained and house trained. He’s fixed, microchipped & up to date on vaccines.

His only con is that he is scared of children & dogs. We believe that he’s not had the best experiences with them.
For this reason, we are unfortunately not able to adopt Monty out to any home with kids under 11-12. We would like for Monty to be in a home with a very friendly dog or possibly the only pet in the home. We are unsure about cats.

This dog is completely different than he was when he first came here. He was so terrified and stressed. He stayed in our decompression area for a week, has been taken for walks by volunteers daily, got neutered and vaccinated, eats good food, gets tons of love and he is the sweetest most loving boy.

We would love to get him out of the shelter, whether that means a foster home or a forever home. 🏡
He just wants someone to love him & to feel safe. He is very food motivated and easily trainable.

Kehlu is such a good girl patiently waiting day in and day out for a year and a half for her future family to take her home. She is SUCH an affectionate girl that loves hugs and wants to be as close to you as possible. She's gone to adoption events in public and done super well with all the chaos. She does need to be the one and only pet in the home, but she has enough love to make up for a whole pack! Kehlu is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Could she be waiting for you?

🖤🤍🖤 CASPER 🖤🤍🖤

This boy is truly a gem and has quickly become a rescue favorite. Casper is about 2 years old and his time in a rural shelter was running out, so he came to be with us. Casper is a really affectionate and happy-go-lucky boy. He is very food motivated, loves toys, loves walks, but most of all, loves people! He is dog friendly and truly seems to be happy to have been given the chance to live his life! He walks very well on leash and as you can see, loves to give our volunteers hugs! This boy definitely shows how grateful he is to have been saved and is ready to find his forever family to shower with that love!

Casper is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is undergoing heartworm treatment. We are happy to continue to support his future adopter with treatments until he tests negative. To meet this snuggly guy, click the link below to get started!
