Mistletoe has nowhere to go after December. We desperately need help. She does not do well in the shelter.
She needs to be an only pet. No children.
Mistletoe is so loving but has had a terrible life. We are begging for someone to help with her after December.

Peanut is currently in foster and his foster parents along with our crew can’t understand why he’s not adopted. 😔
He’s a smaller boy at around 35 lbs, 1 year old, dog friendly, interested in cats but not aggressive, house trained, crate trained, very loving and sweet. He’s good on leash and in the car. 🚘
Peanut has been such a great boy. All he needs is one person to give him a chance.

Sadie is 3-4 years old, quiet and well mannered. She’s house trained and potty trained, good in the car and on leash. Her foster Mom says she’s the best girl. 💗
Sadie is dog selective and can be a little timid meeting new people. But once you earn her trust, it’s so worth it!!! 🩵

Sweet Effe has been with us since a puppy. 🐶 She’s a little over a year now, weighs around 45 lbs, heartworm negative, current on vaccines, spayed, house trained and crate trained, dog friendly, kid friendly, medium to high energy, good in the car and on leash. Effe has gone to multiple events with lots of people and dogs and has done really well.
Shes such a love bug. She deserves a family of her own.

Darla is a 2 year old goofball who is house trained, crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, good on leash and in the car. 🚗

Darla currently lives in a home with male dogs and does very well. We recommend only male playmates or no other pets.
Darla is a whole lotta woman and doesn’t realize it, so we recommend only older children. 🧒
Darla weighs around 55 lbs and closely resembles a small spotted cow. 🐄

Darla is looking for her forever home and would also love to do a trial period to see if she’s the one for you.

Lilo is medium to high energy. He’s very friendly and playful. Easily trainable & has lived in a home. He is house trained and crate trained.

Caleb is around 10. He’s neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines.
Caleb is looking for a place to spend his golden years. He’s still got life left! 🥳
Caleb is a favorite. Everyone who meets him loves him. He’s eligible for a foster or forever home. 🏡
Caleb has some sight issues, but never misses a treat and don’t try to walk past his kennel with a bowl without stopping. 😆
Caleb is deaf and sleeps through all of the shelter chaos.
This boy is so special and deserves to enjoy the last years of his life in a home.
We pulled Caleb from a kill shelter. Let’s give him a family for Christmas 🎄

Hope 🍫

Do you remember the pic we showed you of Hope when we first took her? She was living in a fenced in area where the homeowners threw their trash. She lived in literal trash, beer cans, alcohol bottles, random garbage. The neighbors that called us told her they would allow her to get pregnant then take her babies way too young to sell to God knows who… 😔
They moved out and left Hope there, in the trash.
We would like to see Hope know what it’s like to have a real family that loves her that will never leave her behind.
Hope is 3-4 years old, friendly to everyone. Unconcerned about dogs and cats. She doesn’t know how to play, but she likes dogs. We honestly don’t think she would care if there was another animal in the home.
Hope is around 45 lbs, good on leash and in the car, house trained, crate trained, current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
Hope is heartworm positive. This does not affect other animals or humans. We will cover her treatment until she tests negative. 🧡

Please share Hope. She deserves to know what it is to have a family. 🥹

Little Sara belonged to a homeless lady in our area who decided that she didn’t want her anymore. It was so sad to see her try to get back to the lady after I started walking her to her kennel. 😔
It’s crazy how much loyalty dogs have when it comes to humans, but, sadly, so many humans are not loyal in return.
Sara is around 1 year old and has already been on the streets and now in a shelter. Sara weighs about 40 lbs, prefers male playmates, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, great on leash and in the car. 🚗
Sara would love a forever home, but would be happy to have a foster home too.

Welcome Vito 🩶

I wish I could tell you guys a different story, but it’s unfortunately the same old Alabama story. This poor boy was dumped. He’s emaciated, his skin is awful. 😞
Vito is about 3 years old. He weighs about 40 lbs. He’s dog and kid friendly and has been around cats with no issues. He was curious, but in no way aggressive.
He is currently awaiting his neuter appointment then he is ready to go. 🙌🏼
