🍫 Hershey went to the Vet today and got his shots! The Vet said he is about a 2 month old healthy Lab mix. 🤎 Now he’s just waiting on his neuter appointment, but in the meantime, he’d love to meet a foster or a forever family! 🐶 Hershey loves other dogs and humans! 🖤🖤🖤 SADIE 🖤🖤🖤

Sadie is doing excellent in her foster home. She is very well trained, has learned many basic commands, loves sunbathing, hikes, walks, and snoozing while her foster mom works. She is potty trained and leash trained, but still no meet and greet. She is such an intelligent dog and would make an amazing addition to the right family.

Sadie is a sweet 2 year old black lab mix and a very cuddly girl. Her foster says she also very smart, catches on quickly, and listens to her commands well. Bath time is also not a struggle with this girl as she patiently waits during her tub time!
She is a medium to low energy pup that truly just wants to be in a calm environment and sun bathe. She is a fairly quiet girl that would do best as an only dog and loves people.

We are unsure about cats. Sadie is crate trained, house trained, and does well on leash. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

💟💟💟 ELLA 💟💟💟

Ella is still waiting for a meet and greet. She is such a sweetheart and being in rescue 6 months without any interest is heartbreaking. She would love a backyard to sun in and a human to accept her affection. Love is all she needs.

Ella is a 2 year old goofball that loves to play with other dogs. She is very vocal while playing, but never aggressive. Ella has lived with an infant and toddler with no issues. She is a bit timid at first, but warms quickly. She is very obedient and great with other dogs. We are unsure about cats.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.

Freya and her foster dad took a day trip to Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon State Park this weekend - she did great in the car and had a blast on a couple of hikes!

💜 Kimber has made her way back to us and we've learned some new information to try and find her the perfect fit!

Kimber came to us as a request from someone in the community that could no longer care for her. It is not very common for the rescue to accept owner surrenders, but after meeting Kimber, it was very clear she deserved to find the perfect forever friend.

Kimber is a 3 year old mixed breed. We don't really know what her make up consists of, but she is medium to high energy. We were not given much history about Kimber's past, but her previous adopters were able to share what they've learned to assist in finding her the right fit.

We do know Kimber loves children, but because she is so protective of them, we recommend a home with no children and no other pets at this time. Her job in her mind is to protect her family and that can come across in an undesirable way. We want to set her up for success, so we feel this is the best way to do so. An example of protection is that Kimber nipped someone that came close to her tiny humans in her last home, so we'd like to help ease her instinct to protect.

Kimber is a sweet girl who loves water, enjoys hikes, and going out in public. Her previous adopters stated they were able to take her in pet stores and out to dinner with no issues. She has also lived with cats with no issues. She has perfect crate manners and does wonderfully on and off leash.

Kimber is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines. She is house, leash, and crate trained. She is unconcerned about cats and knows basic commands.

We decided to take this precious boy who was dumped on the side of the road.

💛💛💛 NIOBE 💛💛💛

Niobe is a 2-3yo sweet, quiet, little 35lb mixed breed that has had a very difficult past. She has come such a long way and has certainly appreciated the finer things in life like a soft couch and tv! When we say Niobe is a complete couch potato, we mean she lays around on the couch nonstop other than to go out to the bathroom. If energy level can be rated extra low, that's where we would place her!

A perfect evening for Niobe would consist of judging contestants on American Idol from the couch while snacking on milkbones, or binging a series on Netflix and gossiping about the season finale.

Niobe would do best in a calm household. She has interacted with the dogs in rescue wonderfully and has shared couch space with other ladies to gossip about the latest series she's watching.

Meet Shiloh!

Shiloh is a 2yo mixed breed that weighs around 35lbs and is full grown. She is very timid, but will warm up to you slowly. We are not sure what has happened in her past, but Shiloh prefers women in her environment, so we recommend her adopter be female, or have a female living in the home.

Overall Shiloh is a quiet dog and enjoys a quiet environment. She is dog social and gets along with all dogs during rescue let out time. She is very submissive. She is great in her crate, house trained, and leash trained. We would say she has a medium energy level.

Meet Sia!

Sia is a beautiful 2yo Shiba Inu/Husky mix. Her different colored eyes are just stunning! And that little button bob tail of hers is so unique. She is a small little bit around 35lbs, but has a big goofy lovable personality! During let out time at the rescue, Sia is always the instigator of play time. She is quick to encourage everyone to get their exercise in. She has previously lived in a home with children and attended training. She knows many commands. She is also house, leash, and crate trained. This sweetheart would be best suited for an adopter with a more active lifestyle (walks, hikes, outside time, etc). We would put her energy level around medium to high.

Our precious Iker. 🏀
In the first 30 minutes of meeting him I realized how badly people have treated him. But he still loves people. It’s crazy to me how they still love after being so used and abused. Slowly we have been working with Iker on not feeling as if he has to fight for survival. We are 100% positive that he was used for fighting and ended up being beaten in the face with a brick for either not complying or losing a fight. Nobody can tell me any different. But with love and baby steps, we believe that Iker can be healed. Mentally and physically. The scars on his body will make you cry. The picture that we received after him being hit in the face was heartbreaking. Please pray for Iker’s little brain that has been so messed up by horrible people who think that these creatures are here for their own sick entertainment then thrown away like trash.

We believe in Iker. No matter how long it takes. We are a safe place for second chances. 💕

This snuggle bug of a sweetheart has not had a single meet and greet. If given the chance, she would snuggle you like no other!

Stitch (named by our NDR community after Lilo & Stitch) is a 2 year old terrier mix that was abandoned and continued to get overlooked in the shelter. As her euthanasia date approached, we took her in to avoid that devastating fate.

She is the sweetest dog out there. So loving and gentle. She loves group play with other dogs and tends to play on the submissive side.

Stitch is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heart worm negative.

My heart has been so heavy since yesterday, but today we have to get back to work…..❤️‍🩹
We have a few dogs that are all set and ready for their homes, but have never had a meet and greet or just a day or weekend out of the rescue environment. They desperately need a foster. Or even just a weekend out.
If you foster for us, we provide everything. Please consider fostering. There have never been as many dogs being dumped, neglected and euthanized as there are now. If ever there was a time to help it is now. 🙏🏻
