In the 14 years I’ve been doing this, I’ve had the privilege of working with some very impressive people, many of them being women.

I find it ironic how we humans can be great leaders for other humans and set boundaries even for the people we love the most but we’re helpless when our dogs give us the puppy eyes.

If your dog’s behavior is a becoming a problem I promise your dog won’t love you any less if you provide discipline and guidance. Just like children dogs won’t like with when you say no and set boundaries in the short term, but in the long run they’ll love you for it even more!

I don’t mean to single out the ladies, it’s just been my observation through the years that dog moms tend to love their dogs so much, they’re afraid of applying some tough love. 🐶❤️

Just something that has been coming up quite often lately. If you’ve requested pickup or drop offs on a weekend or a holiday please adjust your dates.

On weekends and holidays I like to get the dogs out on hikes and enjoy other activities with them. These are also the only days I get to spend at home. Traffic is horrible on weekends and holidays and I would have to pay staff members a full day to take care of the dogs while I drop off one or two dogs in the city which would drive up the cost of boarding. Dog owners have the option of picking up and dropping their dogs at my place on weekends if they wish.

Thank you for understanding and I can’t wait to hang out with your dogs!

December 25th-29th I won’t be in NYC for walks or training sessions as I’ll be busy at home caring for dogs during the holidays, but I will be offering virtual training sessions during that time. That week I’ll also be doing free dog training webinars via zoom on various dog training topics such as leash pulling, separation anxiety, aggression, leash reactivity, barking, Housebreaking and puppy training. If there are any topics in particular you’re interested in let me know! I usually do a 15 minute presentation on a topic followed by a Q&A session.

I’ll be posting more info about dates and times and how to join. I look forward to seeing you there!

One of ‘s best buddies, the elevator guy! It’s interest to see the relationships some dogs have with their neighbors and people in their community. Hoffman always looks forward to greeting his buddy before and after walks and when there is another elevator guy on duty Hoffman is visibly disappointed. Dogs aren’t just members of our families, they’re members of the community too!

Just had a training session with Winston and his human

Winston is new here to NYC and he’s afraid of the spiral staircase in his new apartment.

His owners asked me to help build Winston’s confidence with the stairs and we did some confidence building exercises and Winston performed like a champ!

Most dog owners of dogs with nervous dispositions want to help their dogs become more confident but they don’t know where to start and how to push a dog’s boundaries without pushing too far. Sometimes it helps getting help from someone with experience 🐶❤️

I apologize I haven’t written any articles on my substack page in quite a while. I find that many content creators often get away from the work they actually do and they become primarily content creators.

I love writing articles and making videos but my passion will always be my work with my dogs and I don’t want anything to get in the way with that. Therefore sometimes I will take a break from creating content to focus on my dogs and I think in the long run it will lead to much better and informative advice on dog behavior and care.
