Update: Lost and Found Pets of Lexington, KY says she has been found safe.

The Lexington Humane Society is asking for help finding one of their dogs that escaped from her foster parents.

“One of our dogs, Lola, escaped from her foster parents in the area of Palmetto Drive/Jacks Creek Road in Richmond on May 17! Lola is microchipped and has recently had her back leg amputated. She is very friendly!

Please call Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control dispatch at 859-255-9033 if anyone spots her.”

I can't help but think about all the dogs that are at our local shelters/rescues. Dogs that just want to feel loved and wanted. They deserve a chance and to live in a forever home. The staff and volunteers at our local shelters/rescues do their best to love and care for the dogs but it's just not the same love and care that these dogs need and so desperately want. There is a dog for everyone in the local shelters/rescues. Visit your local shelters/rescues.
