I am at a home with several fur babies this week into the beginning of next week. I have had some difficulty getting good pictures because when I move, they move and then the photo is blurry! There are four dogs and three cats.

I have been at various homes dogsitting or running back and forth between homes for the last two weeks. I missed taking some pictures of a couple of the dogs but these were some of them. They kept me hopping and I got my son Kyle involved in one job too.

Last but certainly not least this weekend in our care is Petey’s twin from Little Rascals. She was a rescue and so incredibly gentle. I love how she snores too.

I had a cancellation next week for ten days so now I am free from June 10-30 for any and all dogsitting. Who do you know who is traveling and may need a dogsitter?

For anyone who has extra duties at their home when they travel, I am up for it. Some things I have done for people while dogsitting have included keeping water full for horses, watering outside flowers, running to the vet for prescriptions, dropping dogs off for groomer appointments, picking up mail at the post office, taking care of a pot belly pig (it came inside the house every night), feeding chickens and putting them in the coop at night, cleaning cat litter boxes, along with the more usual things like putting trash and recycling out and bringing it back when emptied and bringing in packages.

We have an adorable puppy visiting tonight. We watched her a couple weeks ago and could not get enough of her. She is so well behaved for a five month old puppy. Those ears❤️

I am with these two pups this week at their home. They love their walks and hanging out by the pool when I am outside enjoying this beautiful weather.

This week I have a “frequent flyer” at our house. This is a second home to her so much that even our cat stays around without anyone chasing each other.

I have a few cuddle bugs at this house this week. There are 3 other pets I have not photographed yet but these two were being super cute so I snapped a picture.

These two are from two separate houses of dogsitting Friday/Saturday. Bali is so gentle and sweet. She is quiet, cuddly and loves to take naps. Chamois comes to our house and is a “regular”. She loves to cuddle with me on my lap and wants to know what is going on at all times. We love her visits.

I am hanging out with sweet Birdie and Rosie tonight. BIrdie was just rescued around Christmastime and Rosie is 2 years old and also a rescue. They love living life together. Rosie was lonely before Birdie joined the family.

I watched one dog the week of Christmas at our house. She is a maltipoo. We also owned a Maltipoo named Zoey for 13 years before she passed away two years ago. This dog looks so much like our Zoey so it was very special to keep her for a week.

I grew up on an Iowa farm surrounded by animals. We always had dogs and raised yellow labradors for several years. Since moving to Nixa, I have been a dogsitter for 10 years simply through word of mouth. I work for Nixa Schools and dogsit whenever I can. Sometimes I keep one small dog at a time at my own home but more often than not, I go to peoples’ homes to dogsit, walk dogs, scoop kitty litter, bring in mail, water flowers and plants and any other chores while homeowners are away. I can provide several local references and want everyone to feel comfortable leaving their fur baby with me while they travel.
