Safety first, pup parents! 🐾 Saturday's special Dog Day at the Noblesville Main Street Farmer's Market was cancelled due to hot weather. ☀️ 🔥

But don't worry, it's being rescheduled for a cooler day later this fall. Save-the-Date for Saturday, September 7 and hold onto your leashes for more details coming soon! Stay cool! 😎

It will potentially be too hot for our doggie friends this Saturday. Our new date for Dog Day is September 7th! All regularly scheduled special things and perhaps more will happen on that date. Please plan to visit the market and support our vendors if you still can. There will be a cooling station in the Green Room for respite from the heat!

When Eva arrived at the care of Paws Humane, their rescue team quickly found Eva had an old fracture in her elbow and was unable to use her affected leg. To relieve her pain she required amputation. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation was able to provide a medical grant for Eva’s medical care and we are so happy to see she’s healed up well and continues to be her happy and loving self. 💛

This is especially beneficial to pups that come in overly excited or a little bit nervous. These skills make smooth transitions into boarding. ✅

There *is* some truth to the belief that dogs are a good judge of character. Research has shown through their keen sense of smell and skilled read on human body language and cues, dogs will sometimes use that information to form an opinion of a person. A dog's sense of smell is 1000 times stronger than humans. These heightened senses allow dogs to smell the pheromones that evoke the human mood which also helps dogs pick up good and bad behaviors of a human.
