The Village Veterinary Center, a small family business, was launched in Wickford, Rhode Island in the spring of 2014 by Dr. David Bergmann and his wife, Gioia Bergmann. As a modern, full service veterinary hospital, The Village Veterinary Center uses leading edge equipment and time trusted techniques to maintain the health and well-being of their patients.

Tomorrow is a bitter sweet day for us. Addison is saying good bye to The VVC (and RI) and moving back home to Texas. She has been such a HUGE part of the practice and has contributed to our success on so many levels. She is a rock star tech who’s place will be so hard to fill. We have enjoyed sooo many laughs over the years and the clinic just won’t be the same without her. We wish only incredible and BIGGER (lol) things for her in TX. Thank you for giving your heart to our practice and patients. 🩷

We are grateful beyond measure to work along side them everyday. So if you see them this week (honestly any week really) thank them for giving so much of themselves to our patients. 🐶🐱💗💗

It’s a super emotional week here at The VVC as it’s our last with Shayla. She has made the difficult decision to start a new career outside VetMed. We are devistated to lose her but are so excited for all the great things in her future. Dave and I can’t find the words to express how deeply we appreciate the phenomenal human being that she is and the dedication, loyalty, and hard work that she has given our practice and our patients. She has been such an integral part of our success. Her heart is one of pure gold and we wish only amazing things for her. Shay, you will be missed beyond measure and you will always hold a very special place in the heart of The VVC. 💕💕💕
