"Massages feel good, but do they actually speed muscle recovery? Turns out, they do. Scientists at the Wyss Institute and Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences applied precise, repeated forces to injured mouse leg muscles and found that they recovered stronger and faster than untreated muscles, likely because the compression squeezed inflammation-causing cells out of the muscle tissue."

Hey everyone, Sterling here!
I started this business a while ago and figured I better tell everyone what it's all about!

Alaskan Animal Massage was started to help people be more aware of massage as an option for animals and to make it available for local horses and dogs. It's cold in the winter, and it's not hard to believe our animals deal with the same stiffness and soreness we do from working and playing in the snow. In some instances our horses and dogs are even more active than we are in the winter months and it shows in their muscles, especially during their transition to higher activity summers. That's where massage comes in, improving circulation, boosting flexibility, and relaxing muscles and joints to help keep your pets flexible and happy.
So if you think your family dog is getting a little stiff, or want to make your sporty horses transition into a busy summer a little easier, talk to your animal's vet to see if they think your pet would benefit from a massage and message me to ask questions and get more information about how I can relax your animals and help them get loosened up!

I would actually put one, but I never remember to take photos.
