We are back again with another friendly holiday reminder post- we will be closed Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day. 🎇 We are open until 8pm today, and will be open for our regular hours (8am-6pm) tomorrow. Please reach out ahead of the weekend if your pet needs any refills of their food or medications, or if you think you might need something to take the edge off for our more nervous friends. We hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend and we’ll be back on Tuesday 9/2 at 8am! ☺️🐾🩷

Not everyone may know this, but we do have our own online pharmacy! You can find it linked under the “Store” tab on our website, and make getting all the medications you need a lot easier- from monthly preventatives to allergy meds to life long daily prescriptions. Our staff is constantly checking the portal to stay on top of everyone’s requests and making sure your pet gets what they need. 💊

Try ordering your pets next refill from our online store and maybe you’ll get a Duncan at your door too! (Have treats ready, just in case!!) 🐾

Our Story

Welcome to Kohn Animal Hospital! We are a full service hospital treating dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, and other exotic pets. The original Kohn Animal Hospital was located in Highland Park, IL and was created by Dr. Leonard Kohn in the early 1950s. His granddaughter, Dr. Greta Mann, has revitalized the practice to follow in his footsteps. We value close relationships with our clients and take pride in our family-type atmosphere here at Kohn Animal Hospital. Our staff is excited for the opportunity to help you and your pets.
