Duncan’s back on your feed to let you know our hours for these upcoming holiday weeks 🤗 But first… we must acknowledge how handsome he looks in his bow tie! 🫶
Once you’re done with that, make sure you slide over to the second slide to see which days we are closed, open, and the day in which we are only here a half day (8am-12pm).
Please let us know ahead of the closure dates if you are running low on meds, food, or anything else furry friend medical related!

Hello everyone! We will be closed Thursday the 27th and Friday the 28th this week for Thanksgiving and Black Friday 🥧 Please let us know ahead of Wednesday the 26th if you need any refills of medications for the weekend. We will reopen Monday, December 1st for our regular operating hours: 8am-6pm. In case of any furry friend emergencies, reach out to: BluePearl, Veterinary Specialty Center or VEG. Every clinic has their “grumpy old man” patient.. the patient who has a routine weekly appointment that has a 50-50% chance on wanting to bite you, depending on the mood he’s in that day 😹 And every clinic will tell you the same thing: “We love that guy!” 🥰 That’s our Charlie. 🩷 So when we heard the news that Charlie made his 17th trip around the sun, you know we had to get in on the birthday celebrations for our favorite grouch! We are back again with another friendly holiday reminder post- we will be closed Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day. 🎇 We are open until 8pm today, and will be open for our regular hours (8am-6pm) tomorrow. Please reach out ahead of the weekend if your pet needs any refills of their food or medications, or if you think you might need something to take the edge off for our more nervous friends. We hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend and we’ll be back on Tuesday 9/2 at 8am! ☺️🐾🩷

Welcome to Kohn Animal Hospital! We are a full service hospital treating dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, and other exotic pets. The original Kohn Animal Hospital was located in Highland Park, IL and was created by Dr. Leonard Kohn in the early 1950s. His granddaughter, Dr. Greta Mann, has revitalized the practice to follow in his footsteps. We value close relationships with our clients and take pride in our family-type atmosphere here at Kohn Animal Hospital. Our staff is excited for the opportunity to help you and your pets.
