🚨TEMPORARY HOUR CHANGE

Due to the upcoming events & increased traffic for the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th, 2024, we will be closing the office at 2 p.m. So, hours will be 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Please keep this in mind when planning for prescriptions, food and/or emergencies. With this being said, surgery patients need to be picked up no later than 2 p.m. Normal hours will resume Tuesday, April 9th (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.)

If you've noticed a black kitten around the office, she's not a Halloween decoration. We've added Trashcan to the OHVH family! She was found on site as a tiny kitten but she's had a huge personality since day 1. She's very outgoing and hard to miss, but still a little nervous at times. If you see her at your next visit make sure to say hello!

It's Cheez-it's birthday! She got to celebrate with some kitten play time, some new mice and her own special kitty birthday cake. Hard to believe our customer service representative has been with us 4 years already!

Starting this morning, State Route 19 was closed in Oak Harbor right before the bridge leading out of town. The bridge is scheduled to be closed the rest of the week. If you are coming for an appointment from the Oak Harbor direction you will need to find an alternate route. If you have any questions, or need help with directions, please give us a call. Please plan to add a few extra minutes to your trip to arrive on time.

We have been asked to share this cutie in hopes of being able to help find him a new home. He is believed to be about a year old. He is FeLV/FIV negative and has had his first round of vaccines. This kitty is deaf and will need an understanding home. If you would like more information about adding this kitty to your family, please call our office and we will get you in touch with the person currently caring for him.

Scheduled feedings (rather then free feeding) and keeping them active with lots of play will help keep them at an ideal weight.
