-Retired Racehorse Project
Along with Julie Baker at Dependent Ranch in Escalon, the goal of this project is to find healthy, stable, loving homes for retired racehorses. Bennett Equine takes enormous pride in riding, re-training, and loving these animals who are so often overlooked when their racing career is over, and looking for their forever home.
-Groom Elite Instructor for Second Chances California http://www.trfinc.org/Second-Chances-California-c163.html
Through this program, Bennett Equine combines personal knowledge with the Groom Elite curriculum (http://www.groomelite.com/index.shtml), to teach proper fundamentals for professionally grooming horses at the racetrack. Grooms have a high-paced, very important job at the track. They must be able to handle horses in a high stress environment, and know what to do in case of an emergency. Second Chances Ca. provides these services to AB109 probationers. The goal and purpose is to teach participants a new way of life, a useful skill, the value of hard work, and essentially, how to maintain employment. MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES AVAILABLE
