👋 I’m Chumlee. I’m about 2 years old my mom rescued me about 2 months the ago. Generally I’m fine around dogs but if they get too close or run by me it makes me nervous. So my mom and I are working with Mutt & Tumble. ♥️🐶

Every Board & Train get’s a special Certificate with a Graduation photo and several photos of their time spent with us. This is a symbol of the work achieved to create a happy & balanced dog. Also symbolizing a reminder to the owners to continue and maintain the training. EVERY DOG HELPED IS ONE LESS DOG THAT WILL END UP IN A SHELTER, REHOMED OR WORST EUTHANIZED.

Leash and dog aggression addressed with our Board & Train. After 4 weeks with us, Chuy has been able to learn new rules, boundaries and limitations that encourage balance. His parents came to us because they couldn’t control him anymore and it was becoming a MAJOR problem. After the Board & Train there’s a lot of training 🏋️‍♀️with the parents to prevent any bad behaviors from coming back.

Our special girl Mika graduates our Board & Training program tomorrow. We are so proud of her progress. Every dog gets a tailor-made program. For Mika she had too much freedom which caused he to have anxiety from lack of structure. When she goes home we do our best to teach the human(s) to adopt our guidelines helping Mika to be an even more balanced dog.

When you have a nervous dog you want to use specific activities to do this. The only way to build confidence is to do! Challenging your dog is helping them to build confidence!

Door manners takes patience from the 🙂human. Ask your 🐶dog to go to a designated spot when guests arrive and do it with little movement and hesitation. The hesitation from the human is what will slow the training down. Give the command once and wait. When puppy training don’t be afraid to use a leash. A leash allows you to give your puppy or dog clear directions. In the beginning puppies need lots of help and direction.
