Merry Christmas to all!!!
Thank you to all our customers and employees for another crazy holiday season and year. Blessed for everyone and everything. We are closed for the next few days to allow some rest and family time. We will reopen on Thursday the 29th.

We will be open tomorrow and close as usual on Wednesday. If you have appointment on Thursday we may have to move it due to impending storm. We will see what tomorrow brings and call to reschedule if needed. We may be open Friday if it passes quickly and we have electric! We want to keep everyone safe and sound so stay tuned 🐶

Good afternoon to all our furry friends...No our phones are not broken...Yes we are trying desperately to get more help...please be patient with us. If you did get thru and have an appointment please show up for it and on time...when you don’t show it causes our groomers to lose money that we all need to survive. If you can’t make it PLEASE call and let us know so that we might be able to call someone else in who really needs it.
Summer is here ...be mindful and do not leave pets in hot cars and watch their paw pads on hot pavement.

If you know any groomers looking for a job send them my way please!!

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone...we are closed today so everyone can enjoy the day with each other . Whether blood mothers, step moms, foster mom’s, moms to be, mother in laws, mentors, friends, fur mommies and anyone else that has touched your life along the way...may you know you are loved by many and sit back and enjoy the day you’ve earned it!! Let me start by saying we hope everyone is staying safe and we give blessings to all those that have been touched by this Pandemic whether you have family or friends that have suffered. Keep those you love close this Holiday Season.❤️

We are coming down to the final weeks before year-end and our bookings slots are filling up!! If you still want to get your furry friends washed or groomed my advice is to call very very soon!!! Openings are limited. We will be closed on December 24th half day, all of the 25th and 26th. Reopening on the 27th. Then closed 1/1/2021 for New Year’s Day.

Due to the storm we decided yesterday afternoon to close down today- Thursday the 12th to keep customers and staff safe in case storm hit hard. I called and rescheduled everyone that answered. We will be open tomorrow and hope everyone faired well. Call us Friday morning if you still need rescheduled and we take care of you. Thanks again for understanding our closure.

We hope all our family and friends enjoy the July 4th holiday!!! We will be closed Saturday so we can enjoy the day but will be back open Sunday the 5th.

Keep safe, make good choices to stay healthy and remember some fur babies hate fireworks so be mindful of setting them off.

I have bathers and groomers who have not returned to work yet and we are trying to help as many of our customers as possible right now 💕 We are Blessed to have so much business and are doing everything possible to help you out. Talked with county commissioners office yesterday. As long as we abide by CDC rules and keep our count of employees down we can stay open!! So please only 2 people at the front desk at a time...everyone else wait outside until your called in...six feet apart. We will get thru this together but apart...💕

Here is the latest info from we received which is a copy of the State of Florida Executive order. Read page 4 section 3 item iii. States as Essential - taking care of Pets. I am awaiting a call back from Marion County Commissioner’s office but we believe that we can stay open. Until told otherwise we will honor all appointments being made!! Yes we heard the stay at home order from the Governor. We have found that pet food stores, vets and boarding are all essential. We are trying to find out since we can limit (10) people inside the facility that are working if we can still stay open. We will get back to everyone as soon as we know.

Hello friends...we are still open for business and asking everyone to stay safe thru this pandemic. While we can use safe practices on our side of the counter we hope you take yours before coming in. Starting tomorrow we will shut down the Self-Service side until this is over. Just want to keep my staff healthy.💕 Hope you all understand.

At Prefurred Pet wash and Grooming the health and safety of our employees and customers is our #1 Priority. WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS!! and dedicated to keeping everyone healthy. We are making sure door handles, tubs, tables and floors stay clean and sanitized as much as possible while not harming pets and people with too many fumes. Please keep small businesses in mind thru this Pandemic as we do not have the payroll backing of these giant corporations. We are all trying to make a living and if we are directed to close our doors we are putting good people at risk of losing their livelihood. We are winding down this holiday season and would love to take the time and thank all our customers that have supported us this year...you have given me the opportunity to employ over 19 people and that makes me happy 😊. We may not all be rich in dollars but we all make a good living and love what we do so that makes it priceless. If you have not already made your Christmas appointments let me apologize now if we cannot accommodate you as we are trying to get as many as we can in before Wednesday on both the grooming and bath only dogs.
