We had a great day at the National Southdown Sale today in Greenville, OH!

We are back from our short hiatus from online sales with a double header. First up is our Wednesday sale, the second on Sunday. Both groups of sheep are backed by our 99 year breeding program.

We grew out a great set of yearling bucks and also have two mature bucks for sale. All will be priced between $2000-$5000. Please reach out to discuss which ram will work best for your needs and we will work within your budget to sell you the right stud buck. We will be around all weekend picturing our January lambs for our next online sale as well as having lambs and a few select yearling ewes available for private treaty purchase.

We changed things up a bit this year and elected to get our set of fall lambs sheared before viewing and picturing in order to give you the best look at them. We couldn't be more impressed with the quality and depth of this set. Because of that, we had to change our sale date schedule just a bit and out first sale will now be January 24th on Willoughby Sales.

We went ahead and got the fall lambs sheared today and are more than impressed with how they looked out of the wool. This set includes lambs sired by Next Up, March Madness, Blueprint, The One, Whiskey Fever, and Big Time.

We have been asked over the years how we fit the heads and legs of our lambs for show, so we decided to put together a tutorial video! Turn your volume up - Preston talks you through the process we use!

Our virtual show is quickly approaching and as promised we have put together a quick tutorial video. A few quick reminders: All videos must be horizontal No filters or editing The video must be continuous, not pieces put together The video must be in the original format (not YouTube) The video must include the head and flock tag visible (scrapie tag does not have to be visible in video) Pictures of the front and back of registration paper and head shot are required You can email videos and supporting pictures to [email protected] via Dropbox or text them to 303-519-1166 Include the junior’s name, lamb flock tag number, and t shirt size with submission A helper can assist in setting legs, but the junior the lamb is registered to must be ahold of the head at all times Halters are fine for younger showmen Practice makes perfect If you have any questions about submitting the videos and supporting pictures please call Preston (502) 514-3417 or Morgan (502) 514-3418
