u're out of town? Going on vacation and want someone to spend the night with your dogs at your house? Work nights and most dog walkers can't help out? Here at Sunshine Sitters & Services we understand the desire to have someone come to your home to watch your treasured pets and to help keep an eye on your home while you're away. If you need a date night, a mother's morning out or simply need a backup because your regular nanny/sitter is unavailable, no problem. Need vacation help or an extra hand over in Orlando while the family is visiting the theme parks? Have a plumber or electrician coming out but you can't leave work? We can meet them and wait until the job is finished. Throwing a party and need a few extra hands so you can visit with your guests instead of being stuck setting up and replenishing? After realizing there was a growing need, senior companion care was added to our services. Many older people need extra help shopping, going to appointments, driving, or just a little extra help around the house. Sometimes they would like to go to movies or lunch somewhere and just don't want to go alone. Other times there is a concern that they cannot be left alone, but does not necessarily require nursing care...we can help. We believe in "ohana". Ohana means family, and Sunshine Sitters & Services understands that for many, family is unique to them. Whether you need help with your goldfish or your dogs, your newborn son or your 99 year old grandmother, we can help with ALL your family needs. We are capable of helping your family run smoothly in many different ways...not sure if we can help?

Please keep in mind this heat is rough on pets but tougher on some breeds over others. During this time we may limit outside play to utilize more inside playtime where it's cooler and we encourage everyone to please keep your home temperatures where you normally have them set. We understand the temptation to set it higher to save some money when you are gone for longer periods, but your pets often feel that difference and it can affect them. They are used to it being how it is when you are home...if you leave and raise it, they absolutely feel it, especially particular breeds. This is a good time of year to know the signs of heatstroke and to watch for them. We want all the fur babies to stay safe and comfortable during these dog days of summer (hahaha see what I did there ;) )
