Gorgeous Smokey is only 5 months old and such a big goofy fun guy. 🤗
He first came to see us for an abscess and he was taken into surgery to remove it, he did wonderful. He came back to have his sutures removed and he's made a full recovery. 💜
He's the sweetest and happiest boy ever. We look forward to helping him in his health journey in the future.

Interesting fact 🐾 It's true!
Yawning is contagious for dogs as well as humans. Studies have shown that a yawn from you can trigger one from your dog. 🥱
Even more interesting is that it is four times more likely to happen when the yawn originates from someone your pet knows. Crazy, right?

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic condition that affects a dog's gastrointestinal (GI) tract, including the stomach and intestines. It's caused by a reaction to chronic irritation of the intestinal tract, which leads to an allergic-type response and inflammation.

This inflammation impairs the dog's ability to digest, absorb nutrients, and pass waste normally.
Symptoms of IBD can include:
diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, lethargy, fever, decreased appetite, weight loss, flatulence, and abdominal discomfort.

Symptoms can vary in severity and may be intermittent or chronic, lasting more than four weeks. If left untreated, IBD can lead to poor nutrient absorption, weight loss, abdominal distension, and swelling of the extremities. In extreme cases, it can cause blood clots, which can be fatal.

Sweet handsome Rocky was brought in due to hacking and coughing. His family was worried he might have a chicken bone stuck in his throat. After X-rays Dr. Wang put Rocky under anesthesia and removed a foxtail from his tonsils. After waking up he was immediately feeling better. Mr. Peanut Butter is four years old. He came in for a possible blockage. We did a barium study on him as well as a few injections to help him feel better. He came back the next day so we could recheck his X-rays and the good news was Mr. Peanut Butter was clear of any blockage 😊 He's such a sweet guy and so darn cute If you think your pet may have an emergency, bring them right in.
